Dear Cecil and Robert,
I need a little clarification. As far I understood the gua number of an house is telling us which are the 4 good and the 4 bad section of the house (and they are applicable to each individual). On the other hand the gua number of a person is telling us which are the 4 good and the 4 bad directions of the person inside each section (bad or good). So in other word we should allocate the rooms according to house number and to orient ourselves or the furnitures according to our personal gua number.
Right or wrong?
Best regards
Luigi

Dear Cecil and Robert,
I found some uncosistency between the 8 houses theory and the 5 elements cycles. According to my gua number(3) my favorable directions are north, east, souhteast and south. Taking into consideration that I am a wood person, how the south can a favorable direction? The fire element would not weakening my energy? And why southwest and north east are unfavorable direction? Wood is not controlling earth?
Thanking you in advance,
Best regards
Luigi

My girlfriend (born on october 8 1973) has a gua number 6 (metal) but according to pillar of destiny she is a yin fire.
I understood that the pillar of destiny indicate the true element (so she is fire) but for the good/bad direction purpose (eight houses) what should I use: the gua number or the true element?
Thanks
Best regards

Mountain star influence
in Flying Star Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)
Posted
Dear Cecil and Robert,
I am reading a book of Eva Wong (I do not know the original title) of course about Feng shui.About the flying stars analysis,as far I understood, she mainly takes into consideration the interaction between the facing star and the base one and she pays little attention to the mountain star (according to her the influence of the mountain star is limited)What do you think about it?
