  1. Hi Robert I agree with you that I am a beginner at Flying Stars. I have just begun Joseph Yu,s 3 courses including Flying Stars. So I hope that I will soon understand the basic foundations clearly. I understood --+ to mean yin reverse, yin reverse, yang forward, which determines whether the Mountain and water stars float in a yin or yang direction based on the 24 mountains of the Lo pan compass. My confusion was with the #5 star which did not have a direction in the Lo-Pan. Do I undersand correctly that I use the period star to determine the Yin or Yang attibute. Thanks again Robert and sorry for the foolish questions.I hope they will become more intellegent soon. Best wishes Bill
  2. Hi Robert, I have been studying the info you gave me and I am still a litlle confused. According to other Masters (Lynn Yap) 1,3,5,7,9 stars are +-- 2,4,6,8, stars are -++ If this is correct wouldn't my 5 (150 degrees) and 7 (330 degrees) both in the third sector be (-) or reverse? Thank you, Bill
  3. Dear Robert, I am new to this type of forum discussion.I understand what you mean now. I found your reply in Free Advice. Thank you very much. You are so kind. Best wishes Bill
  4. Dear Robert, Does that mean to wait for the book because nobody can answer my question? Best wishes Bill
  5. Please if someone could answer this for me I would be very grateful. I have some confusion about the water and mountain stars directions of movement. For example: My house was built In period 6 . I have a front door in NW2 door (320).So my water star is 7 forward /yang. My mountain star is 5.SE.because it is opposite of 7. Wouldn't it also be SE2 and be forward/yang? (5+, 6, 7+) My confusion is in a period 7 front door. N1 (340) the water star is a 3+ (forward )and the mountain star is 2- (reverse.) (2-, 7, 3+). Could you please explain why the 2 is reverse/yin. I thought the mountain star is exact opposite of the water star.(which wouuld make them both yang /forward). Or does one take another compass reading for the mountain star direction? Thank you, Bill
  6. Dear Irene You are so kind to answer my questions. For example: My house was built In period 6 . I have a front door in NW2 door (320).So my sitting star is 7 forward /yang. My mountain star is 5.SE.because it is opposite of 7. Wouldn't it also be SE2 and be forward/yang? (5+, 6, 7+) My confusion is in a period 7 front door. N1 (340) the sitting star is a 3 forward and the mountain star is 2 reverse. (2-, 7, 3+). Could you please explain why the 2 is reverse/yin. Thank you, Bill
  7. Please could someone explain how a water star can be in the + direction and the mountain star in the -. Do we actually take separate readings for the front door and the rear of the house? In Lillian Toos' new book on Gardens she has a chart for a north facing door: A door facing N1- 337-352, The period is 7. Water star is North 3+ and the mountain star is South 2-. I have also seen it on Joseph Yus' audit example. Thanks,Bill
  8. Thanks Cecil, I am a bit relieved because I have a 5-2.4in my east sector of the building which encompasses most of my unit. I was worried about health problems. The stars in the unit itself seem quite good. Thank you again. You are so kind. Bill
  9. Thank you again Cecil, If I choose to do the Flying Stars. Should I do a chart for the whole building and another for my unit. Best wishes Bill
  10. I am unclear what determines what direction the stars move on the charts. I thought that(example) N1 was + and N2andN3 were -. But I see some charts that have the water star + and the mountain star -.I am confused. Bill
  11. Dear Cecil, Thank you for the advice. Are you saying that I should do the charts for the whole building only and not my individual unit? (in the east corner). There are four units on each floor. Bill
  12. I live in a square 3 floor apartment NE 30 degree door. My apartment is in the east corner of the building. with a NW door. Should I do the eight house and Flying Stars chart for both the Building and the apartment. If both, Are the charts of the building more important then the apartment which is in the building? Thank you. Bill
  13. Dear Robert, Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions. You mentioned before that Raymond Lo has some books on Flying stars. Do you have any ideas how I might acquire them? Thanks, Bill
  14. Robert, Thank you again.Would installing French windows that extend out two feet change the birth date? I do not understand why painting the ceilings would change anything. (I am a house painter.) most grateful. Bill
  15. Dear Robert, Thank you very much for your prompt reply.I just found your forum today and I think it is wonderful. I already have Lillian Toos' book on numerology. Are the mistakes in calculation or analysis? This is the only book I've found on Flying Stars and I would be very grateful to find out what the mistakes are. I have heard her teacher is a Great Feng Shui Master, so I am surprised to hear there are mistakes. I am looking forwards to your book. Best Wishes, Bill
