  1. Hi Cecil, How would you consider a person who's element in the Day of birth is Fire and born in early October. Is that considered as a weak Fire person? Also, if in the Pillar of Destiny there are three Earth, three Metal and two Fire, do you think this person would need Wood and Water to make-up for the lost elements?
  2. Hi Cecil, I am an intense feng shui follower. For this year, I have done all the things that a feng shui master have said, e.g. placing certain items in the house and so forth. And the thing is I have won little money almost every week playing the superlotto in California. Last weekend, I visited a friend in Las Vegas and stayed there for a couple of days. Would it by any chance change my luck because I lost some money in gambling? She did not have any feng shui audit done to her house. Jezzy
  3. Hi Cecil and Robert, Happy New Year to you. My question today is, when you have the Mountain and Water star both 7 found on the North area of the house which is a bedroom, what would you do? What can I place at that area to bring out the luck. I understand that fish tank and fountain cannot be placed in the bedroom, what can I do to activate this area? Thank you. Jezamine
  4. Hi Cecil, My understanding of feng shui is that the Water star should open out to an open space. If by using the door leading to my garage, it would not be an open space because it's a two-car garage and also where we place our washer and dryer and all the other garden equipments (more like a store room condition). But once we open the main garage door which is facing south then we have an open driveway to the street. How do I incorporate the flying star into my dwelling? Do I take into consideration the garage as well?
  5. HI Robert, My main entrance is at the first quadrant of East and the door leading to the garage is at the third quadrant of East. We usually get in and out through the garage door; but when receiving guests, we use the main entrance. In other words, both doors are being used but more substantial on the garage door. Which is why I have problems when applying the flying star onto my premises. Would appreciate your advice very much. Jez
  6. Hi Robert, Thanks for explaining the Mountain and Water Star. I know about the "Siang Sing" and "chor Sing" but didn't know that they refer to the M and W Star. My house lot faces south but the house itself sits West and face East. As East opens out to a driveway and the garage faces South (L shape), how can I activate the East (wood)? Do I place a fish tank inside the house or can I have some kind of fountain outside the house? Also, on the West ("Chor Sing" or Mountain) I have a fireplace which is seldom being used as we have centralized heating. As I understand West is of Metal Element and is also related to vehicles, machineries and appliances, and should not use fire to melt, am I right? Hope you could highlight me on the above. Thanks. Jez
  7. Hi Cecil, I would like to know more information on the mountain and water star. What do they actually mean and where can I get this info? Thanks. Jez
  8. Hi Cecil, I would like to know the purpose of the sword which is made up of ancients coins with the holes in the center dated in the time of "chien Loong". This sword is tied in red strings. I used to hang one at near my front entrance until someone told me that it is no good to do that. I wonder what's the reason. Hope you could help me. Thanks.
  9. Yes, Cecil, you were right about rearing fishes. It is a hustle to clean it too. I was told some time ago to place 6 black fish in a fish tank in my kitchen window and another one in a spare bedroom. From my understanding after reading your site is that fish tank should not be placed in the bedroom. I am going to convert the spare bedroom into a guest room. Is it Ok to still have the fish tank there if someone is sleeping in that room? Also, I forgot to mention that outside the North area of my house is my backyard with a swimming pool. Is that good or back. My front door faces East.
  10. Dear Cecil, I understand that in the Year of the Rabbit, the North area of a house is being considered as a luck area. In my house, I have a fish tank with a turtle inside and above that is a picture of a whale diving into the ocean with its tail upwards. Is this good for this area? What can I substitute to bring better luck. Thanks. Jezzy
