Hi, I'm a yin-earth 'dragon'

ANSWER: Hi Fraser, based on the birthdate above, you are yin metal(day pillar)unless I calculated it wrong. This is the pillar I came up with:
Year- yin earth Rooster
Month-yang earth Dragon
Day- yin metal Rooster
Hour-yin earth Pig
I assume that you're looking at the month pillar hence, your assumption of earth element. You need to look at the day pillar which in your case is Metal.
You are extremely strong metal person with lots of resources(earth). There are pillars that are impossible to balance. In that case, the chart becomes follow the strength type. Earth and metal are favorable while wood and water are unfavorable. This is why you are attracted to metal. One way to verify this is if you have done anything that's earth/metal related and outcome is successful. Hope this helps.
Quoteunderstand, using five element
theory, that metal exhausts
earth. Therefore on a
subconscious level, I
shouldn't be
attracted to it. But metal is
one of my favourite elements.
No one has put social pressure
on me to like these materials
or elements, and I'm at a loss
to explain why, if I'm an
'earthling'
that I should be attracted to
elements that are bad for me.
The only thing I can think of
is for 28 of my 30 years I've
lived in a house that is
primarily made of wood. Would
I have been attracted to
metal, because metal destroys
wood (and wood destroys earth)
hence the
metal would destroy the wood,
thus making things better for
me as an 'earth' person.
If you could enlighten me on
this subject I would be
greatly appreciative.

HI Robert,
Thanks for the daily forecast. I could be wrong on this one: you indicated July 22 is a Dog day but I just thought July 22 is -Wood(heaven stem) and Pig (Earthly branch) day. Am I wrong?

Dear robert,
I am new to pillar of destiny.
So I was wondering how come
the period of 1998-2002
period of strong metal is
considered auspicious for Bill
Gates. Since last year he has
suffered so many set back in
his business. Delays in
introducing the microsoft
window etc. He is immersed in
all that litigation. So many
rivals etc. Had to pay huge
fines. He is in troubles up
to his ears. Can you clarify
how this period is considered
good for him. Thanks.
Hi Robert,
It was so ironic that A&E biography channel featured Bill Gates last night. Anyways, it was said that he moved in to his new mega house in late 1997 unless I heard it wrong. Could it be bad fengshui of the house? It sits in the mountain side. The justice dept suit against his monopolization started in early 1998 which happens to be Earth and Tiger year luck. Assuming he is weak water, earth year will not be so good for him. Too bad, they never mentioned the time of his birth last night. :-(

Hi Robert,
Thanks for Mr. Gates' pillars analysis. (If I may add), I also noticed that he got married during his 10 year luck period of which his wife element appeared. This does confirm the saying: it is likely that a marriage will occur when he/she enters a 10year luck period of which the spouse element is present.
It is very interesting to see how his pillars contain 4 power elements and 4 wealth elements...no wonder he controls the computer software industry and is the richest man in the world. I was told that if you have 4 wealth elements in your pillars, there's a big chance of you getting very, very rich.
I can only imagine the elements in his time/hour pillar...perhaps more power and wealth elements. :-)
