Dear Cecil
Thanks for your reply.
Correct me if I wrong.
If the sector has very good flying stars but it not my
best sector or bad sector in 8 mansion, I shouldnt
spend time there. And if in my best sector there are
bad stars, is it right say to cure it and can spend
time there.
As to my second question earlier about the flying
stars in the west and NW sector, I only need a general
advise as to which sector to place my main door.
Thanks

It is good to know the purpose, strength and
weakness of each concept.
1. Flying Star Feng Shui:-
The purpose is to map out the birth chart of the
house. And see if each sector is out of balance.
If a specific sector is out of balanced and need a
cure, than, a cure should be used to neutralised the
bad stars at that sector.
If any sectors that can be enhanced, then,
enhancements can be made.
Strickly speaking the Flying Star has `nothing' to
do with Eight House.
As you can see from the above, for example, if South
has back sickness stars (bad sector under Flying
Star) - a cure can be placed here.
Therefore, a sector (accordig to birth chart) can be
a bad sector under Flying Star. But it can be either
good or bad sector under Eight House.
>Kindly advise which of the

>(period 7) with flying stars

>NW - 7,8,9
>West - 8,9,1
Please provide me with all the relevant information
or already analysed information on these numbers.

Cecil

Dear Cecil
I'm confused with these two theories, kindly advise the following question.
When there is a conflict situation such as 8 mansion said that the sector is my best and the flying stars said is not good.
Which theory shall I follow?
Kindly advise which of the following sectors in my house (period 7) with flying stars is better and why.
NW - 7,8,9
West - 8,9,1
Thanks
Alan

Dear Cecil
Thanks for replying of my many questions, I need your advise on the following.
My gua no is 6, my house is a period 7 house and facing NW (310 degree). The NW sector has flying stars of 7,8,9 and West has 8,9,1. May I know which is my best sector and direction between these two sector to place my bed and main door?
Second question is how to treat the following sectors:-
1) North has stars of 2,3,4
2) South has stars of 1,2,3
3) NE has stars of 9,1,2
Thanks

Dear Cecil
I hope you can give me some advice on my master bedroom arrangement. My gua no. is 6 and my wife is 9, I know my good directions are bad for my wife but what to do...I married her. So can you advice me on my room layout whether is good or bad based on me and advice some remedies for my wife. My house is facing NW and the bed is also facing NW. I have attached a layout plan of my room.
Thanks a lot.

Dear Cecil
Thanks for your reply. This is a terrace house where
the roof is normal sliding from top to front and back.

Dear Alan,
1. Thank you for attaching your layout plan.
2. Overall, from the external shape of the house, it
looks acceptable since, from the profile, view, it
looks like there are several rectangular shapes
within the home i.e. the jaggered edges on each side
of the house.
3. Perhaps, you can describe more about the roof top
i.e is it flat top or have normal roofs.

Dear Cecil,
Thank you your reply again, but if you read my question again, it consider placing the door in sector of the house rather tilting the door direction.
Thanks

Honestly, it is very difficult
for me to comment based on a
few statements.
Usually, tilting the door on
the same spot of the existing

difference in the direction

compass direction.
In addition, usually, the new
direction must match the
breadwinner's Ba Zi. And this
also includes the environment,

Frankly, I hope you

Dear Alan,
1. Thank you for bringing up this interesting
question.
2. The rationale why, this question comes along is
because it is not often that an event that happens
every 20 years occur.
Especially since the last event change of period
occurred prior to the commercialisation of the web.
Many users have not seen the effects of such a
change.
3. Following past precedence, most houses renovated
under Period 1984 to 2003 will continue to have the
influence of Period 7 after 2003.
However, in some instances, especially big buildings
or large buildings may have their enhancements
negated one year after the shift.
Please note here, the mention is about
`enhancements' made under Period 7 based on Flying
Star.
4. For micro Feng Shui e.g. small square area such
as apartments, the influence is small.
But if the enhancements are based on Shapes and Form
Feng Shui, this would still be ongoing.
Therefore, unless one does a major renovation under
Period 8, a house would remain a Period 7 house.
Similarly, a Period 6 house had continued to have a
Period 6 characteristics even under Period 7.
The changes under Period 8, would be some changing
of fortunes. And sometimes, business have change of
fortunes. Especially when we look at a road. In many
instances, business across the road is much busier
than that road. But, fortunes may change, e.g. the
opposite side of the road gets busy.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Dear Cecil
After reading books and emails in your website, I'm abit confusing and the age of building and period, such as if the house is renovated in 2002 and its terms as build in the Period 7 and has the benefits of period 7 forever eventhough period 7 is coming to its end soon. or the benefits will ends when period 7 ends? Can do my renovation according to Period 8 and wait for it to come after 2004.
I have a question here to ask, according to period 7, West is a good sector for my to place my main door and NW is bad and Period 8 says that West is bad and NW is good for main door.
Thanks

Dear Cecil
My gua No. is 6,I just bought a house facing NW so that I can have my main door facing NW. But according to Flying star theory, it is a eastern house which sitting on SE and is no good for me. If this is the case I will never find a house that my main door facing the front of my house as the good sectors will be behind of the house according to the sitting position in Flying Star theory.
Please help me and tell me wether the house I just bought is suitable for me.
Thanks

Dear Cecil
Thanks again for your speedy reply. I have last two
questions to ask you. I cant wait to do my renovation
in period 8. I wanted to do the renovation soon and
move in before end of the year. My question is if I
follow period 7 feng shui enhancement, how long do I
enjoy the goodness since period is coming to its end?
My second question is if I do renovation according to
period 8 now, when will the effect will take place and
for how long?
Thank you so much,
Alan

Dear Alan,
As mentioned earlier, you have to compare both
charts i.e. Period 7 vs Period 8.
Only if Period 8 charts looks:
1. either more favourable and/or
2. equal to Period 7 in many aspects
You can do renovations in Period 8.
If Period 7 chart e.g. especially if it has a double
7's at the main door (I say - if this is the case);
and in Period 8, there is no double 8's at the main
door.
In such a situation, I would personally stick to
Period 7 chart - in most instances.
Without comparing both charts as stated earlier,
there is no way to know which period is better.
Alternatively, you can (forget or not view Period 7)
chart. But instead, look a fresh at Period 8 chart.
If the Period 8 chart - looks `reasonable', you can
then go for Period 8.
These are the two most reasonable way of evaluating
whether to go for Period 8 or not.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Dear Cecil Lee
Thanks for your speedy reply. I still confused about the direction. When you
said about direction , do you mean the actual house faces or the main door??
And if the sector of the house is not suitable for me ie the bedroom but if
I sleep faces the good direction, it is still suitable for me??

From: "Cecil Lee"
Dear Alan,
1. Yes, it is often the case, especially in finding a new home and we are
trying to actively find a home based on our best directions.
2. Under the Eight House theory, there are 4 good and 4 bad directions.
3. If we are unable to find the best house (Excellent sector) at least try
to find one where there are other 3 good sectors. If, we still cannot find
one, then at least find a house that does not have the `death or disaster at
the main entrance.
4. In addition to the above, look at also the bedrooms and see whom can
`fit' into which room(s).
5. As mentioned earlier; so long as the other 3 sectors are good sectors,
this is considered ok or the house is still generally suitable.
6. From my past experience, excellent houses that fit a person/family are
pretty hard to find. Therefore, one can safely say also that there is the
probability that not all houses are `perfect'.
7. For those, in Singapore who are buying new private homes e.g. in
condominums can try to find homes especially in new launches... and try to
find them early. Majority of these homes usually have main doors that face
various directions.
For the `less fortunate'; can still try when the time comes for the
balloting of say new goverment housing board flats and hope to find resale
flats. (May take time and effort -thou)
