  1. Hi Cecil, Many thanks for replying. I have attached a sketch of our frontage and our neighbour as well as a pix taken from my gate showing a clearer picture of what I see. While standing at my gate, I can clearly see all of the objects. A pair of kirin in gold with jewel studs. I have checked out that the yellow bagua is convex type. Over at my end, we have put up nothing at all. Really appreciate your advise on what to do. Many thanks. Serene
  2. Hi Cecil, I read a reply you put through for a question posted May 7 on the topic of kirin then I suddenly realise I could possibly face the similar threat or worst off as my Indian neighbour put a pair of metal (with pretty colorful gems) kirin in front of the house PLUS a bagua as well (a yellow one). Although his door does not directly face mine, I suppose it will possibly affect as we only have 3 household on this floor (the other is vacant house which face directly opposite his house) and the distant from his door to mine is diagonally approx 3m away. Please advise if I need to put up anything like that since we have good relationship and that we have to do it very thoughtfully. I am concern also because luck hasn't been good in whatever aspect....in the aspect of FS, is this external threat more serious then say if there are leaks within the house. Thanks.
  3. Hi Cecil, I am still very concern about the alignment of the 3 windows forming a straight line from the kitchen to the master bedroom. Hope that you can advise. Thanks. Hi Cecil, The windows of my kitchen and the 2 sets of windows of my master bedroom almost formed a straight line. so if I open all the windows, I can see through from kitchen to the other end of the bedroom and out. Is this a major problem as I normally open all the windows. Also I display a set of 18 years of "tung shui" as a display art on a piece of wall near the living hall windows. Is this acceptable? Many thanks for your advise.
  4. Hi Cecil, We have now completed our renovation and moved in on an auspicious date picked by Robert. I do have some questions needing your advise after the move in. I wanted to activate mountain star but do not know which is/are the most appropriate sector to do so. Especially whether the main door is consider the frontage or is the windows portion in the living hall the frontage. Under 20 years analysis, the mountain stars are found in the center sector [1/4 base 7], SW [7/7 base 4](where store, small part of dinner and main door) and in the study/home office of North [6/8 base 3]sector. I would also like to know if there are any wrong placement of furniture in terms of form and shape theory. I have attached my new layout as well as my the chart summary. Would greatly appreciate your kind assistance. Best regards, Serene
  5. Hi Cecil, Many thanks again for the advise you have given us from the start when we choose our house. We have now completed our renovation and moved in on an auspicious date picked by Robert. I do have some questions needing your advise after the move in. I wanted to activate mountain star but do not know which is/are the most appropriate sector to do so. Especially whether the main door is consider the frontage or is the windows portion in the living hall the frontage. I have done a summary on all the star combination based on 20 yrs, year 2002 and five element for yr 2 based on the detailed report ran from site. I would also like to know if there are any wrong placement of furniture in terms of form and shape theory. I have attached my new layout as well as my the chart summary. Would greatly appreciate your kind assistance. Best regards, Serene
  6. Hi Cecil, Wanted to know if the step cornering of our living hall cornice consider posion arrow? Attached is a snap shot for your viewing. If it is, what cure can we have?
  7. Dear Cecil, Have read about hanging 6 metal coins as cure and is wondering if it has to be tied together. Recently I bought this beautiful wooden piece of ornament with an embedded metal coin. I thought of placing it in 6 pieces together in a vertical format from top to bottom. In this case the coins will not be tied. Is it OK or must the coins be tied together by the red string/ribbon? Regards, Serene
  8. Hi Cecil, I need your advise on whether ceremic tiles that looks like parquet of cream color is consider wood or earth element. These new tiles really have the look of wood grains though is made of ceremic. If in the case that it is consider more of wood element, I heard it is better not to lay the entire living hall with wood element. Is it true? Our living hall is in the covers south and SE sector. Is there any relation to my weak earth and my husband weak water when deciding? Many thanks. Regards, Serene
  9. Dear Cecil, Recently I stumble upon a very beautiful piece of glass (the type is call "liu li") deco in the replica of Qin dynasty emperor's chair with 5 craved dragons. I personlly love it very much but wonder if there's any specific place I should place it or rather any area I should take care of not to misplace it. Initially I thought of placing it near the entrace where we have a display area facing the main door. If not facing the dinning area looking out to the window. Both in the South sector. The piece is not a huge. It measures only about 3.5" x 3" x 3".
  10. Dear Cecil, I am basically a candle craze and we live by candle light at home. We use them everywhere in the living hall, dinning area, bedroom and toilets every day. I read something about candle placement today in a book that says " use with care in the south and to support the west." I would like to know the impact of this with reference to my usage at home. What are other considerations for us living by candle light? Do we have to look at say the yearly star??? South is my living hall and west is my kitchen. I am weak earth. Should I discontinue using candle in south??? Regards, WB
  11. Dear Cecil, I am a weak earth person. From my career report it said that water is my wealth representation and mentioned that according to my pillar, I will not completely enjoy this wealth unless I enhance with Fire. But won't water put off fire? and water also supposingly destruct fire which is use to enhance my weak earth. Regards, WB
  12. After reading on shape and form, it is mentioned that the main entrance should not immediately face a wall. This is what exactly happening to my house now. Please see attached. So should I place a ba gua to counter act? Regards, Serene
  13. Hi Cecil, After reading your earlier communications on period 7 vs period 8 comparison and the bad effects for S and SE, I have a question on it that would appreciate your advise. Currently we just started renovation for this new house which has 747 main door in the south sector of the house. And since the living hall is enlogated, it also covers the SE sector. Reading from your mail with a user, you mentioned that if S and SE is in one single room, we have to see it closely. And also that the 747 combination is actually not very good due to the bad wood vs weak metal. So we are now quite worried what's the best remedy for the situation. I am weak earth and my husband is weak water. Also due to constrain, when I am cooking by my stove, the kitchen windows will be behind me. According to shape and form this is no good. Did I interept correctly? What cure can I apply? Regards, WB
  14. Dear Cecil, Many thanks for the quick reply. I have scanned in the layout for your comments. I have also scanned in the flying star chart from a book in period 7 for SW first section SW210. One more question in addition. From the layout you can see that I have charted the 9 grids and their directions. You will notice that the main door is situated in the south sector. However when we take the degree bearing from the house, it shows 210. So should we consider it in the south sector or the southwest sector and how to relate it to the layout with reference to the flying star chart? Serene
  15. Hi, As we need to choose our house this Mar 7, I have been activitely reading up Feng Shui related topics to help select a flat that best suit us. However we do fall into confusion and dilemma. I have looked into my husband's and my eight house. We are of different group as his kua is 7 (born in 1966)and mine is 3 (1970). That makes a lot of things very difficult. According to the flying start for hpouse period 7, the 2 house units for us to choose, house (A) has main door facing S210 and the house (B) W255. House A is cleared of sharp arrow and facing other main door as it faces a wall. Acoording to our intepretation, this door is good only till 2003 and period 8 comes, it will be very inauspicous. The master room is in the NorthWest sector of 6 which is beneficial to my husband's kua 7 but accordin to flying star, it is a quarrelsome grid. This unit has a missing East sector. Generally we know that the house B will have an auspicous main door this period but the 2/7 combination brings bad luck for children. (we have a son 3.5 years old). This house alos have more sectors unfavouable to my husband according to his eight house. Eg. master room is in his bad section 4 on south east. This unit has a missing North sector. Also the main door faces another main door of other unit as well as shap arrow of a "L" shape column facing the door 2 meters away. When deciding, which takes preceding priority, the flying star or eight house? Given the main considerations when come to good main door and master bedroom, which unit is deem better for this period and the next as we intend to stay beyond 5 years in the house. We sincerely awaiting your advise to select our house on 7-Mar 02. Serene
