Directions and Room Use

Recommended Posts

Dear Cecil:
Thank you for the opportunity to ask a question about the use of a room in my house. My house is a SouthWest one, the four corners of my dwelling face N, E, S & W almost exactly, and there are four rooms on the main floor. My home office is in a room which has its corner in the North (my Disaster direction). However, the compass shows that it contains much of the NorthWest (my Prosperity) and a little NorthEast (my Longevity) directions as well.
My question is, if I use the true North part of this room for storage (filing cabinets, etc), and keep my desk off the Disaster line, can I invite the other directions in with use of a mirror at the NW and NE points and 'activate' those parts of my office?
If so, are there any specific cures I can do for the North direction (I'm a weak wood)? If not, my only option is to move my office into the living room which faces West, which I am willing to do rather than risk having my career become a 'Disaster'!!
I am looking forward to your excellent advice and thank you again most kindly.

You can place the filing cabinets at the true North. but I do not recommend
use of miror at the NW and NE points as the intangible forces cannot be
activated this way. The only way is to sit closer to the good intangible
force location.
Mirrors if used wrongly can `bounce' back double the bad luck so becareful
here. As I mentioned, the Eight House only looks at how suitable are you to
your home but it does not take into account whether under the birth chart of
the house, it is a suitable location.
For example, if under the Flying Star Chart of your house, and the NW
happens to be your " sickness " location, one would be in serious trouble to
use a `cure' such as a mirror. If in doubt, it is best to consult a Feng
Shui practioner before putting up anything.

Under the Eight House theory, if it is the `disaster' location, it is
difficult to avoid it using `cures'.
Since you are a weak wood person, the best elements that help you are:
1. Water element
2. Wood element
3. Metal element (helps water to grow and in turn helps wood to grow) -
Compound help.
If your office is at the North, ideal colours are: Blue, grey or black.
This can be the decor, your dressing etc
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
