3 leg Toad

My mom bought me a 3 legged Toad with/money coin . I am not sure where or how to place it. I was told the best way was with the back facing the door. Is this right?

Frankly, this figurine is " remotely related " to Feng Shui.
Under Chinese belief, yes, it should face `into' the house where one can
accumulate luck. As for the placement, in general, place it at a location
you personally feel comfortable with.
