If The Quartz's overhang is great; The Crest's nice "V" shaped design that mimic those of a bamboo tree is even more impressive. "For those who had experience strong windsand heavy rainfall would appreciate this - a "user friendly" roof overhang for each unit" "Furthermore Individual - point-blocks are relatively safe designs inthe realm of Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. In addition, kinda like the "V-shaped profilewhere each balcony is sheltered from the rain"

Attached please find a can label showing the Ma Ling Branch Bamboo Shoots. Please note that bamboo shoots should not be eaten alone but rather like rice, it tends to absorb the flavor of other ingredients. (In my opinion, eaten alone it is quite tasteless.)

Enclosed please find images of the Double Happiness associated with Chinese weddings. These are the very common designs used for such occassions. Many of us, have by now seen the Double Happiness symbol used in the previous pictures shown under this conference. Some Chinese are good at paper cutting. The outlines of these symbols can easily be cut out by someone `skilled' in this art.

1. During the 1970's the Housing and Development Board (HDB), which is a statuory board tasked to house ordinary citizens; built a one of the kind circular block of flats. 2. This iconic block located at 259 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 2 (at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 and Ang Mo Kio Ave 2.0 3. This is one and only circular design block built by HDB. There was never any more such an unusal circular clover leaf-like design. 4. Today, this single block of flat is called " The Clover @ KEBUN ". 5. As each stack / unit has an interior layout plan; many owners / tenants has to resort to tailor-made furnitures to fit the circular profile of the interior. …

Enclosed please find ten motifs of the same Chinese symbol: Shou which means longevity. These symbols are commonly found on just anything. For example you can see the symbol on Chinese `antique' chairs, cushion covers, wood carvings on doors, panels. This symbol is also found on bedsheets, pillow covers etc... Confirming the Flying Star direction. By confirming that the compass direction of the sales brochure falls within the same "tolerance" i.e. SW3 232.4 degrees to 247.4 degrees. The sales brochure shows 237 degrees. While the onemap.sg shows 234 degrees. And both these two findings fall within SW3 Flying Star direction. Thus it is always good to counter-check such information and futher confirmation with the actual on-site readings.

This is another design of the same concept: Three Leaf Grille Gates. Photos were taken at the Clementi Hub (Blk 441) of flats. It has a very simple rectangularish design. This design does not have the bottom covered.

Dear Miriam, Yes, one of these alternatives is meant to "neutralise" the beam. Even under current situation (without a neutralsing agent); it is felt that one must be underneath the beam for more than 2hours per day per year to have any effects. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Wasis, I bought it locally in Singapore for around approximately US$14/-. Personally, I find the 6-hollow-rod brass wind chime too heavy. And it can only make a sound in very windy conditions. Try to go for the more common 6-hollow-rod alluminum rods with the `wooden' supporting frame and clinger. This type of wind chime(s) makes the most sound. And would be more effective. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. Last Saturday, an existing client who had recently sold their condominium unit and bought a landed property. 2. He asked me whether should he change his main entrance door position? As he felt that the main gate should not open directly towards the main entrance door. 3. Please see attached illustration showing: Layout Plan A and Layout Plan B. 4. These are the considerations:- 4.1. Contrary to my client's belief, especially in Singapore; especially for terrace houses; in my opinion 50 percent of all such terrace homes have either their main entrance directly facing the main gate (as shown under Layout Plan: A). 4.2. And the rest of the 50 percent of all terr…

In these "older" photos; you can clearly see the outline of the main entrance door. In the newer photos; the owner removed the main entrance door from that area. Check out some of the "newer" photos e.g. Triangular2.jpg etc..

Many of the units within the Punggol Field, Punggol Emerald neighbourhood have poor Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Especially units that; when one stands at the main door; can directly see the rubbish cute of the entire block. Or, the corridor is dim and dark leading towards the main entrance doors. Does not seem to have good Shapes and Forms i.e. unable to properly accumulate good qi at the frontage or Ming Tang (no Bright hall effect)

1. I was amazed at how the yellow cane palm, had grown in just 11 over years! 2. I could recall; around 11 years ago, when this Admiralty Drive HDB estate was completed. 3. The yellow cane palm were just "babies" at that time. 4. Nature is indeed very remarkable! As usually the Yellow cane palm grow side-wards much like many other palm or bamboo trees. But this one, grows like a "Tree". 5. For one, I cannot imagine that these trees can grow so tall! Wow! Simply amazing! 6. Sometimes; it is good to look at and admire the beautiful birds and trees! Of course, try not to mimic Jack Neo's past adventure of not just looking at birds; and many reports say he tried …

Part 1 - Daintree Residence a 99 year leasehold development consisting of 12 blocks of 5 storey high. The architect's creative concept or vision of the development: "AN ARCHITECTURAL MASTERPIECE Exquisite and elegant, the articulated façade of Daintree Residence is a stunning composition that is naturally sophisticated. Showcasing the rippling effect of a stone quarry’s vertical topography, the artfully contoured façade gracefully sprouts into lush natural surroundings of Rainforest and Valley that seamlessly integrate and pushes the boundary of design. While form and function efficaciously captivate an extraordinary identity, the panoramic Tree…
