If someone who is familiar with Boon Keng today is transported back in time; the person should have no problems navigating through the area. The major changes would be the Whampoa River leading to Kallang River would be a wonderful sight, then. Government Street map of 1954. A = Boon Keng MRT B = Bendemeer House demolished. The Sunny Spring at 50 Lorong 40 Geylang Site plan So far, whenever there is an address with "Geylang" in it; in my opinion MOST banks in Singapore often does not want to provide a loan. Capital Tower at Robinson Road was originally planned and built by POSBank in the early 2000’s to be it’s new HQ. The bank was suppose to move into this new “Rocketship design” around 2003 from it’s existing HQ at Bras Basah Road. But when DBS took over the bank.. this was history. Today, CapitaLand and anchor tenants GIC, JP Morgan occupies the floors.

Marine Blue Twin Towers Under Construction Previously before Marine Parade Road (MPR) got diverted, there is a comfortable distance between MPR and the service road as well as the main gate / and actual block frontage of Marine Blue: Today, it does not look anything like the above. MRP is just a few yards away from the service road leading towards Marine Blue's main gate.

In my opinion the unit I had visited was to me pretty noisy…perhaps I am not really used to the noise. Also, it could be that the “U” design with the pool between blocks 66 and 68 may have contributed to magnifying the traffic noise…along the highway. Thank God that I was there for no more than one and a half hours.

Flying Star Feng Shui of HDB Fernvale Crest. Stacks/units either face Period 8 NE1 or SW1. For example of NE1 facing are stacks like #327 or #329. For SW1 facing: #333 or #335.
