Where possible, avoid having the toilet bowl directly face the toilet door as shown in Picture: Toilet1.jpg and Toilet2.jpg. It is equally not auspicious for the toilet bowl to face the dining table. Under this situation, it is best to close the toilet door when not in use. (Picture: Toilet3.jpg)

1. Please refer to attachment. 2. In the attachment, there are three plots that are circled in RED. 3. In the attached government survey map, the circled (RED) areas shows that the plot is often undergoing re-building. 4. Often, either by coincidence or otherwise, all the three plots circled in RED have a large canal behind the home. 5. By coincidence, most likely these homes have changed hands e.g. sold by the existing owners for one reason or the other. And often, a new owner would rebuilt a home on these plot of land. 6. If you notice carefully, to the right of the canal and the three circled areas, there are few if any plots that are undergoing a rebuilt.

A while back, I visited a client in Bukit Merah. As his HDB flat is more than 30 years old; he told me that nearly every day; someone in his "slab" block is always changing floor tiles. And the noise from such renovations is quite unbearable. Fast-forward... two years ago, I visited the Sky Habitat show-room. And was "surprised" that such a large designer condo "slab" made up of two huge towers only provide "ceramic" floor tiles... And often, there is a likelyhood that especially after the flat(s) changed hands, some owners may most likely change the floor tiles. And since there are so many units in each block in Sky Habitat... erh... good luck to the owners! Assuming if…

The Infiniti at West Coast TOP in 2009 - Pay special attention to health concerns for particular units

The Infiniti is a freehold condominium that achieved its Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) earlier this year (2009). The site is shaped like one side of a Boeing 747 wing or resembles the elongated, unnatural form of a shark's fin, to some extent. This development consists of a total of 8 blocks, with stacks oriented towards either Flying Star NE 1 or SW 1. The compass degree margin is relatively narrow between the line of emptiness, specifically between NE 1-NE 2 or SW 1-SW 2. Fortunately, it can be classified as either NE 1 or SW 1. It is unfortunate that although NE 1 technically possesses favorable Flying Star Feng Shui, this side of the stacks faces th…

This is a collection of photos (close-up) of the front view of the entrapped house. In several of the pictures, one can see that this entrapped house is virtually abandoned. Tell tale signs include partial broken awning. In my opinion, there is virtually no cure for such a entrapped house. Yeah! Move out! Not fit for human living. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Araceae: The Aroid Palm or Arum Fern from Tanzania This has to be a very popular, well-loved palm! In Singapore, it is usually grown in pots. It has thick, shiny, deep green leaves. Many Singaporeans would never imagine that it actually belongs to the palm family. Waxy plants dislike direct sunlight, and this one is no exception. It thrives especially well when given fertilizer. Its trunk is also thick, and everything about the plant suggests it is “well fed.” With its thick, waxy leaves, it looks both high-class and quite prosperous. It is also very easy to grow... Often, you will see auspicious ornaments attached to the stem, or a red ribbon tied to the plant.…

The Lipstick palm is very popular in many landed property homes in Singapore. Many plant this palm at the corner of their landed property. Firstly, Chinese feel that red symbolises luck; and this palm is very easy to grow.

What about one legged tables? This depends on the centre-of-gravity of the table. For example, if one leans hard on one side of the table; can the table "topple" down?

The wealth of the house with bad Feng Shui is run-off to the house at the lower end. The house at the lower-end places its mouth or main gate to receive automatic wealth at the expense of the house with poor Feng Shui. You will find that the house with bad Feng Shui has been left vacant. Mostly due to financial problems - whilst staying in the house. Please see more pictures. Warmest Regards Cecil
