Dear Peck Wun, The placement of a sofa should align with the layout of your living or dining room area. For instance, if your space has an `L'-shaped configuration, it’s best to divide it into two smaller rectangles from a top view, aiming to create a more rectangular arrangement. In this case, you can use your sofa to organize even a long rectangular room into smaller rectangles. There’s no need for a divider or supporting cabinet behind the sofa set. Be mindful of placing the sofa under a beam, but it’s perfectly fine if the sofa isn’t backed against a wall. This is common in homes with fireplaces, where sofas often surround the fireplace without being placed again…

For the last few years, I have the privilege to work on City Planning for a neighbouring country. I have worked on several projects for this country. This is just one of sample of a "city". In Singapore, it is just like the equivalent of planning Towns like Yishun, Woodlands and some projects as large as several Singapore towns put-together.

Dear Users, Ever since I moved into this house, both pots of plants have been flowering non stop at the home's balcony at the South side of the house. Picture 1: Showing the pot of plant with flowers on the left side of the balcony. (Facing out of the house) Size of picture 32K, please wait loading... By the way, the balcony of the house faces the swimming pool. Here, I usually relax at the pool and admire it's `Ming Tang effect'. *JOKE* `Practise what I "preach" ' i.e. water at the frontage of the house:) Oops, the picture of the person at the pool side is certainly not me! -- I am the one taking the picture from above. Picture 2: Showing the pot of plant with flowers o…

Ref: http://fountain.geomancy.net The photo shows a politically correct or in theory a typical "Feng Shui" type of water feature. In the first photo, it shows clearly that the water feature lacks plants = wood element.

Poor Shapes & Forms but no obvious "threat" from movement of or flow of vehicles passing past the front gate of this home. Good news is that the home is set-back quite a distance from the road. A pretty sizeable home by Singapore standards, today. Arrows show the direction of vehicle flow.

Dear All, Further to what I had mentioned, personally, I have not used this product. I have being using two or more Honeywell's HEPA clean air devices and also Amcor (with negative ion) HEPA cleaners for the last 3 years running 24 hours (instead) to clean the surrounding air. I strongly believe that such HEPA cleaners does help to `circulate' qi within enclosed aircon environment. For those who frequently fall sick or family members frequently fall sick; I strongly believe that these devices; have a higher success rate than say buying a hulu (bottle gourd) or some other physical `Feng Shui' cures. Nowadays, the Japanese brands have come up with better systems - but howev…

I apologize for the quality of the photos, which were taken in April 2020. At that time, phone cameras were not as advanced as they are now. As RED symbolises auspiciousness. Many shops cover their new signage with either red cloth or red paper prior to the opening of their shop. These photos were taken today at Singapore's newest North-East shopping icon: NEX.

Location: Marine Terrace, Marine Parade Town Council (MPTC) Personally, I feel that the State Flag should deserve more respect, here... Frankly this is a State flag. And not mere cheap decorative items to have the state flags displayed on side-walk railings... It would be nice, if it was displayed say below the window(s) of HDB/ECs Condos voluntarily. But it is not so happening these many years. Most likely many seem to associate the flag with PAP. ? Instead of the country on the whole. Of course, one can tell where most likely they were put up by the Town councils. Quite obvious, actually. You may feel okay.. but not me... N…
