Location: Marine Terrace, Marine Parade Town Council (MPTC) Personally, I feel that the State Flag should deserve more respect, here... Frankly this is a State flag. And not mere cheap decorative items to have the state flags displayed on side-walk railings... It would be nice, if it was displayed say below the window(s) of HDB/ECs Condos voluntarily. But it is not so happening these many years. Most likely many seem to associate the flag with PAP. ? Instead of the country on the whole. Of course, one can tell where most likely they were put up by the Town councils. Quite obvious, actually. You may feel okay.. but not me... N…

This Chinese restaurant @ Aperia Mall, Kallang displays a pair of an old school pair of qi lin(s). This version is rarely or never found in homes. More like it belongs to the Ming Tombs or rather guarding the Ming Tombs of China

In the forbidden city, these are the primary means of storing rain water. Common areas use earthen clay like water storage urns. While important areas use bronze or bronze coated urns.

Re-visting The Linear Condo I first visited this development when it first T.O.P. in 2006. (Freehold 999years). Today.. it should be around 7xx plus years. But still aplenty! The roof profile is a striking similarity to Marina Bay Sands! Or rather: If Marina Sands is a large luxury cruiser; this one is much like a private yacht. Flying Star Feng Shui puts this development as Period 8 either E1 (morning sun) or W1 (afternoon sun + expect traffic noise along this stretch of road).

This pair of semi-red jade pair of Lion statues are destined for the frontage of either a commercial building or business or even a tradional Chinese restaurant. As usual; to the right is the Male lion who is playing with a ball of silk. While to the left of the picture; the Female is caressing a small baby lion. All figurines placed at buidlings should if possible be smiling; prosperous looking... not under nurished...

In my opinion, this condo has bad layout plans. These are recent pictures taken on Sunday, 30 June 2002. Two of the pictures showing advertising for unsold units. TOP was in 2000. These units are 2 years old.

A circular fence planter makes this home look like aged. As it was popular ten or twenty years ago. For the sake of modernisation; this home had covered it up.. work still in progress. What this does is there is no longer any colours .. especially if plants flower. Plus equally important is that it allows air to flow into the home from that completely walled up area. This is what it would have looked like. Photo from another home:-
