Where possible, avoid having the toilet bowl directly face the toilet door as shown in Picture: Toilet1.jpg and Toilet2.jpg. It is equally not auspicious for the toilet bowl to face the dining table. Under this situation, it is best to close the toilet door when not in use. (Picture: Toilet3.jpg)

1. This water feature is in "orange" colour. 2. Under the Five Elements concept: Metal element = circle (e.g. the circular ball design of the water feature); and orange can also be considered as "gold" colour or metal element. 3. This follows the tradition of exchanging oranges when some one visits a home. And the two dialects: Cantonese : Kum or mandarin orange sounds like GOLD. While the Hokkiens call it : Kim = also gold. While "Peach" colour is pinkish and belongs to the Fire element (Fire element - red, pink or purple).

Traditional business wooden signage Nowadays many modern Chinese firms no longer use such signages: 1. Usually the horizontal or length-wise is based on odd measurements. This represents Yang. 1.1 The vertical side is even measurement: representing Yin. 1.2 For example: if the length of the sign is 127cm; the vertical side is 58cm etc. 2. A most distinct feature are the two support "animals" usually the Qi Ling or a pair of lions. 3. Less common are the two lotus leaf features of the second signage that of DJ Bakery. This signage is a modernist interpretation of the past... As it is embedded …

Back in the 1950's and 1960's aluminium was rare and very costly. Thus this was the most popular design using the material steel. In the past the gates are made from iron. As aluminium was expensive to make in the past. One of the quickest ways to open to any width and quick and easy to lock. Can even add extra padlocks if needed.

Some "parts" of Foresque Residences reminds me of another place: Yishun Sapphire Condo and Yishun Emerald Condo. Here, if one owns a unit in Yishun Sapphire and "South facing" one can see into the swimming pool area of Yishun Emerald condo. Thus, one can be "lead" to believe that parts of Yishun Sapphire condo (south side) seems to "belong" to Yishun Emerald instead. Here, please see attached photos. The photo was taken outside of a unit at block 109 Foresque Residences facing North. In the photo, one can see the pool. But this pool actually belongs to a Treehouse condo - another neighbouring condo. And Treehouse Block 60 has one of it's corners aimed towards Block 109…

I knew when the development called 100 Trees condo (at West Coast) reached T.O.P. that it really had lots of trees. Not that I counted them, but I guess the development must have about that many trees. But I was trying to figure out why they call it “Tree House.” Perhaps I stumbled on the reason the other day. When I saw the Sky View tower and zoomed in to take the following photos, one of the photos showed a distinct large beam. We can call it a “tree trunk” with several branches. OIC! Holy smoke! This must be the reason why it is called the TREE HOUSE!

Surprisingly, although this house has many trees at it's frontage; the trees palm trees are tall and the other trees have branches that are well spaced out. It looks airy and not dim. Favourable for qi flow into the home. Thus a good balance between having no trees or too many trees for others. Note: the tree trunks within the compound of the house does not pose any sha qi or poison arrows (if any) as they are not aimed towards the main entrance door or any windows. Location: Jalan Hajijah , SGP

In these "older" photos; you can clearly see the outline of the main entrance door. In the newer photos; the owner removed the main entrance door from that area. Check out some of the "newer" photos e.g. Triangular2.jpg etc..
