I am looking at a period 7 house that faces NW. I understand the 8 wealth star is trapped. Is there a cure? There is a large sky light in entry way as one walks in the front door. I am not recommending this layout (see attachment). But in Singapore; please refer to bedroom 3 toilet door area; some owners have slanted the toilet entrance at 45 degrees. And installed a bi-fold door. Personally, this is acceptable, but I don't really like it.

Further to what I had mentioned, avoid using a water feature at sector(s) with #3 and or #4. Do also check the 20 year flying stars if there are any /and or #3 and/or #4.

Dear Cally, Glad to hear from you Frankly, Feng Shui is a holistic approach. So you are quite correct in that often there are more than meets the eye. For example, under Flying Star Feng Shui there is the dreaded #3 (conflicts, quarrels) star. Often it can be at a critical area such as the frontage of the home and/or even in the bedroom sector. And it has to be disarmed. Usually a stove facing a sink has more to do with "wealth leaks". Frankly, it is hard to pin point the issue with the limited information.

1. In my opinion, there are no known scientific concerns posed by say strong magnetic influence such as those emiited by powerlines. > 2. MRI's used in hospitals have eeven more powerfull magnets. 3. However, it may be different issue if the tower supporting the poweline slices thru like a butter knife thru an opening of a home such as when standing at thhe balcony, it slices thru it sort of thing. 4. Or tthe tower or pole, can be any other pole closeby that might collapse against part of the home. 5. Otherwise, chances of such occurences is far less unlikely that a vehhicle accident, and also so much less than a plane falling out of the sky.

1. There are so many other concepts, why only consider: based on the Five Element theory? 2. This is a sterling example to understand, the critical qi flow, based on the Flying Star Theory. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, for bedroom two, the most likely influence comes more from the East sector, be it qi or wind coming into that room from the windows or thru the bedroom door. While the NE stars are locked up between the corner of the bedroom and part of the staircase area. Master Cecil, I belive in FengShui and i did make some changes to my house according to FengShui and it worked. Now i am planning to get 'Fu Dogs' for my house, but the problem is i am not able to find male and female. All i can get from local store is either both males(Fu Dogs) or general entrance Lions (not Fu Dogs). About the image, specifically the little square where i show the death line.. the door is not at North but at South for apartment H (but still bad energies affect the main door, right?). For ap. D, the main door is at North, as shown there. Sorry about the mistake. Let me know of any confusion.

These are additional considerations:- 1. Earth luck is strongest on the ground. Thus for a landed property, the sitting and facing direction is much easier to get correct: unless the land is complicated by e.g. the back of the home faces a beautiful lake etc... 2.
