1. Frankly, one should not be too unduly concerned about bunk beds, for the following reasons:- 1.1 If we sleep under a bunk bed, one will notice that it is a a large flat piece above us - usually spring and mattress. 1.2 Compare this to a real beam. A real beam is a concentrated piece, usually a supporting beam for a column or structure of a home. It is this concentred beam (usually concrete mixture with supporting steel structure) OR it could be a large wooden beam. 2. For those constantly seating or sleeping under Para 1.2 , should be concerned with. 3. Bunk beds have been around for many (many) years. And as you have mentioned Hong Kong and even in Singapore, tho…

Please refer to your questions (below):- Q1 : Not found under Traditional Feng Shui. The fixed bagua template: Knowlege/Education area = a modern invention. No basis under Traditional Feng Shui models. Q2 : Generally no major concern other than if you intend to use especially colours like: BRIGHT RED, BRIGHT YELLOW or BRIGHT GREEN. Then, try to get a proper Feng Shui audit done to assess whether can or cannot use such colors. Q3 and Q4 : No too homes are the same. You may wish to consider get a Feng Shui audit done. Such as advise on where to place a fish tank. Quote: Will the extension extend our Knowledge/Education area or will we be creating missing Money/Wealth,…

1. Plastics are derived from petro-chemicals. Petro-chemicals is considered a "chemical" or fire element. But if the plastic is hardened like "poly-carbite" it can be considered as metal element. Much like glass or tempered glass is generally considered as metal - because of it's harden properties - if we consider the material. But, if platic(s) is molded or can be molded or injected into a wavy form then based on just the shape or profile, it can be considered as a water element. 2. Please note that if all these sounds confusing, but yet logical, then as the common saying goes: " An item can be all things to all differentpersons". 3. Cane furniture with metal frame I…

1. Please check out this link: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/yearly-forecast/fortunes-2008.htm 2, The closest to what you are asking is based on the Grand Duke concept:- Grand Duke this year is North, 0 Degree. - Avoid sitting facing the grand duke or disturbing him by having renovations Here the concept is based on planet Jupiter which is consdered to be majority of the time at North O degrees. 3. For other luck, can try to activate Mountain Star #8 in a home.

1. Traditional Feng Shui uses both Shapes and Forms and Compass School of Feng Shui. 2. Since your "Shapes and Forms" is always changing on a ship, logically this concept does not apply to a moving ship. 3. In addition, on a moving ship, compass direction(s) is always changing, equally, Compass School, does not apply. 4. At the higher level is the Yin and Yang concept. Thus this is the most relevant i.e. when time for sleep, see if your home on the ship is cosy enough. And in the day-time usually during work, you should be on the ship's deck or command centre?

1. Although, if you go for a full ba zi analysis, it will tell significantly your 'traits' and types of career - this is only a general comment. 2. Usually, go for your feel. And in business; much has to do with the business model .... Quote: Anonymous wrote: I am a wood dragon. Born in 30/4/1964. I opened an internet cafe but business is very slow. 1. I am not going to go into all the nitty gritty details. 2. As you have read and understood that a kitchen especially a stove at NW = "Fire at Heaven's gate". 3. In addition, some books will say that based on the "current" trigram, HW = Heaven hexagram or "Heaven's Luck". 4. Thus having a stove at NW will affect Para 2 and 3. (Full-stop).

1. Recently, I was tasked to do a town planning (severalthousand ha) for a third-world country. For such a large size, Shapes and Form Feng Shui is the first consideration. 2. It is not true that Flying Star applies only to "after" built up. Locally, many Singaporeans, get us to either do a major Additions and alternation works (A & A). And Flying Star is used widely especially to determine: where qi comes into the home or tap good qi; "lock up" bad qi etc.... 3. In past forum messages, Flying Star chart is like a pie, it can it be a small one or extended out towards the properties marker line or zone. 4. For a plot of land, even if we use Flying star, Shapes and…

1. The holistic method is to maximize the three main luck factors: 1.1. Heaven Luck - the question you asked lies within this area 1.2 Earth Luck - Feng Shui of your home and even office surroundings 1.3 Man or Human Luck 2. What you had mentioned earlier that your five element breakdown shows that you have zero water, zero wood etc... this is often "corrected" by some parents or grand parent going to a geomancy to try to get a CHINESE name balanced to or harmonised to the person. As you are aware some people change their name later part of their life perhaps as their parent did not have the luxury of checking out one for them earlier in life. 3.For a strong yin metal,…

1. Traditionally, a weak yin earth person's - one of the best careers has to do with the fire element. 2. Food technologist in general can be associated with earth element. If one is a weak earth person, then as a food technologist, it is like adding earth to your weak earth. Here, under ba zi analysis, the career is acceptable, but just an average career - i.e. akin to placing food on the table. Quote: Anonymous wrote: I am a weak yin earth person based on the analysis. 1. I assume that you are referring to a landed property. 2. For landed property, imagine where is the road driving into your property and where is your main gate. 3. Usually is your main gate and main entrance door the same facing direction i.e. when you open your main entrance door is this the same direction as the main gate? And in addition, your living room and frontage of home is at this location. 3.1 If YES, then stand inside the house looking outwards and take a compass reading. This is your facing direction. 3.2 If NO, determine where is the frontage of your home. And take a reading from inside the home e.g. porch or patio looking outwards. 4. Obtain a layout …

1. The best method is to evaluate using Flying Star Feng Shui to assess favourable location(s) for the sceptic tank and water tank. 2. After applying the Flying Star Feng Shui; Shapes and Forms of the property in relation to the interior / exterior layout of the building should next be considered. This includes, where the piping of the sewerage lines will enter or flow into the home - avoiding passing thru below a bedroom etc........ 3. The "last" or not necessary must-have but rather, nice-to-have the sceptic tank at one's unfavourable - eight mansion's sector. 4. Where possible, drinking water tank should not be located so close to the sceptic tank in-case of contam…

1. Possible for a Block of flats. Here, especially the frontage of all units face a specific direction. 2. For a landed property, it depends: 2.1. If the neighbours are in-close proximity; say each is a small plot of land, your "south" frontage may be facing another plot's side-view. Here, if one is "unlucky", one may even get to face the toilets of the neighbour or even their backyard (some) with messy storage and hanging laundry. In addition, one will be in big-trouble, if the neigbhour's home roof is triangular shaped and have several of these "attacking" your "south" facing home. 2.2.Try to plot the Flying Star and take the opportunity to "activate" say the double …

This layout plan is typical of some of the layout plan(s) found especially at the HDB Fernvale @ Sengkang (constructed 2 to 3 years ago). 1. Usually to hide the washing machine / drier many use the L shaped sink / stove . Some built a low "partition" at the kitchen side to block the view to the kitchen. 2. The greatest "concern" would be the main door - kitchen "door". 3. The toilet at the "centre" is the least of the problem. 4. More importantly, the most crucial is hopefully your apartment has favourable Flying star "numbers" - superimposed on the layout plan.

1. Ideally, the toilet (if possible) should try not to be at the "center" of the home. Especially if it is the toilet bowl. However, the good news, is that frankly in Singapore, nearly 50 percent of all apartments does have the toilet "close to or in the centre" of the home. This is considered as a "leak". Majority of the time, a regular Feng Shui audit, can help to boost other areas and/or reduce the effect. 2. Main door to many Feng Shui practitioners is like the "mouth" of the home. Thus it is considered a crucial part. Imagine, a person opening his mouth and a "knife" or "fork" or "scissors" poking into it. There are two concepts, here:- 2.1 Commonsense approach If…

1. The apartment number analysis in this website is based on Vertical Flying StarFeng Shui. As the name "vertical" suggests, qi varies from different level(s) or stories (floor). 2. Since yours is a landed property, there is no precedence under Feng Shui or Geomancy on whether a number is auspicious or not. 3. You may have to consider other numerology assessment for the house no.

1. Even if one needs to be "surrounded by" metal, there must be an acceptable level. Usually, if you had engaged an FS practitioner, then check with them. 2. If you are D.I.Y. then be equally reasonable. 3. Metal includes: e.g. circle or oval shape. And glass.

Please refer to my earlier forum message. Chinese astrology should be taken on the "lighter sight" and not in the serious grain. For example, that is why, we named our Chinese Astrology with a "fun" url : Lovesigns.net How often do you see any "serious" conversations or messages even in this forum on the talk of "those born on 1953 or 1965 da... da.. da ... da ... da.... So let's try to leave it that way...

1. In my opinion, it is at least good to hear that you are "starting" a "new" life. 2. However, whenever possible, I do hope that you do not take too much of the Chinese zodiac signs "too seriously". As I feel that too much reference, digestion of e.g. the characteristics of say a dragon, snake etc.. will make us -to-have auto-suggestion. 3. Frankly, one can never tell that the next "snake" one meets will truly be a "snake!" Maybe there is too much coincidence in your past experience in dealing with people. And broadly, any one of us can fit into easily into any of the 12 Chinese zodiac signs. 4. Even in modern Singapore, many people meet each other, be it couples, bus…

1. Unfortunately, since no two situation is the same: 1.1 for a Feng Shui practitioner; for a bedroom, we often try to visualisemore importantly where the bed will be located. In many instances, even if the bedroom is located withintwo or more sectors, usually we would find that the bed-head and if we lie down on the bed, where is the majority of our body lies. If so, this sector should be one way of checking to see if there are no bad sectors or if so, some cure need to be placed. 1.2 Following from 1.1. Rather than firstly get confused whether this sector lies in North or NW, we should take a look at the Flying star numbers for both North and NW. 1.2.1 In some situ…
