1. Some say that SW is the romance sector. Thus, it was felt that hanging family photos is acceptable, here. 2. Usually when applying Flying Star Feng Shui, one can further fine tune applying paintings appropriate for that sector. Thus, if that sector has a mountain star then, a "landscape" painting or picture is acceptable. While if it is a water wealth location, then common Chinese paintings include the kok or gold fish paintings. Glass framed paintings if possible should not be hung facing a bedroom door or facing the main entrance d door. 1. Under symbolism in Feng Shui, yes, one has to be careful of angular objects particularly the "tip" especially if it faces or aimed towards a bedroom or an "opening" such as a bedroom door or the main door. 2. Otherwise, in general, it may still be acceptable to place it at common areas - should normally be ok.

Frankly, under the Chinese "system", there is really no precedence on your situation. But feel free to have a "good" feeling about it

1. As this year the #5 misfortune /sickness sector is at North, it is strongly advisable to see if one can delay installation of the grille and windows until (if possible) after Chinese New Year, next year. 2. The #5 has often to do with health issues and sometimes unexpected serious accidents. 3. Hopefully that the compass readings is done correctly as this year also, Grand Duke this year is North-North-East, 30 Degree. Which is very close-by to the North sector. 4. Yes, if you really need to, select a good date for the "dong tu". 1. Usually, both Shapes and Forms Feng Shui and Compass School Feng Shui is used to properly determine whether a location is suitable for the placement of a water feature. 2. Thus, it may or may not be left or right side of the door. 3. Compass School Feng Shui prominently uses Flying Star Feng Shui to detect water wealth location. While Shapes and Forms, has a bit of commonsense, as it would not be practical to have a water feature at the entrance if it blocks or hinders movement in and out of the home. 4. What you are asking is close to "trial and error" or something like - might as well as flip a coin = 5. Thus, Feng Shui is about making an analysis to determin…

Frankly Feng Shui cannot be done by remote control. Thus, you are correct to do a Feng Shui of your condo since primarily this is your abode (home). While the other address is a "depository". In addition, if it ain't broken, don't need to fix it, does apply.

1. Most professional Feng Shui practitioners apply both Shapes and Forms and Compass School Feng Shui. 2. As the name suggests, Compass School Feng Shui needs the "correct" compass direction of a home. And under this school we have the Eight House Theory and the Flying star Feng Shui. 2.1. Once the compass direction of a home is known, the interior chart can be looked at for the 20 year Feng Shui as well as yearly Feng Shui. 3. If one lives in a landed property; there are instances where neighbours move out, resold or renovate their home. Often changes to the neighbourhood would affect the Feng Shui of a landed property. In such a situation, one can still e.g. take pic…

1. Please note that burying a jar of holy water underground is not a traditional Chinese practise. Have we ever wondered what happened after the holy water dried up? 2. The common practises are:- 2.1. Tilting the door to a certain degree OR 2.2. burying a bronze or copper (copper cum bronze) ruler at the main door to deflect the compass bearing especially if the facing direction is at a compass degree that straddles between one compass direction to the next. Commonly known as the zone of "empty - blank - nowhere"

1. Frankly there are a few remedies but they involve some changes or activity. What it tries to achieve is to have the door "protected" from the poison arrow (sha qi). 1.1. Is it possible to relocate the door? Or tilt the door. (It is best that tilting be done by a professional). 1.2 Fencing between the T section and the main door. Or any other landscaping with the use of bushes or plants. Usually best that the actual layout is looked at to further determine if there are any other possible "cures". The last resort or alternative to the ba gua is hanging a six-hollow rod windchime.

1. Ba Zi or Four Pillars is above one's Heaven Luck. 2. Under the Holy Trinity of Luck:- Heaven Luck (born with) = The other two sets of luck are:- Earth Luck & Human Luck Both also accounts each for 33.3333% of luck. 3. Thus, his hope is to either improve both his earth luck and Human Luck. 4. Earth luck can be systematically improved using things like Flying star - to activate certain locations and sectors. For example good mountain stars can be activated for networking and relationship luck. 5. Another category is Human (factor) not so much luck but rather Human opportunties.. Get him to join some activites or even if he is not so choosy, nowadays.. the…

1. The saying goes "a picture is worth a thousand words". 2. A line of sentence cannot fully describe the specific "cul de sac" as a home can land anywhere along this cul de sac. And there are different consequences or no-issue for some homes.

1. Please note that the border between North and NE is 22.5 and not 26 degrees. 2. Avoid like the plaque if the home happens to land on the compass direction 22.5 degrees as this type of home is on "no man's land". Thus 26 degrees is within NE. 3. So really don't get what you had written? 4. If the home really falls on 22.5 - if in doubt, don't buy that home, please.

1. The best approach is to apply Shapes and Forms and Compass School Feng Shui (Flying Star). 2. Thus, if the person who has told you that your swimming pool is located in an inauspicious location and due to their review as mentioned under Para 1, then, the best way is to draw up a Flying Star chart to analyse the sector's Flying Star numbers atthe swimming pool. Here, you may derive the cure after the assement is done.

1. When applying authentic Traditional Feng Shui, and if you are strictly applying Compass School Feng Shui, then you should be using the "magnetic compass". 2. Not to complicate things, for example near the equator, the magnetic north is nearly equal to the geographic north. Even in other areas, there is a slight deviation, only. 3. As mentioned under Para 1, above, authentic Traditional Compass School Feng Shui, is where, as you had given an example, your frontage should be and is North not South, while the South is the back of the home. This is particuarly so, if you are TAKING a reading using a normal compass (or regular compass). 4. Not to be confused with the Chi…

1. Under the Eight House concept, try to check whehter your son is an East or West group. And depending on his being East or West; thus if he is an East group person, then in general the bedroom at south could be a better choice. 2. In addition, it is nice-to-have him facing a good direction when studying. Free reports are available, here http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports.htm 3. Other considerations may include having just moved-in and perhaps, may take him sometime to adjust to his new home environment. 4. And yeah, the greatest distraction are: both TVs and playing computer games... These are the two "killers" in this modern age... that works against a child's…

1. The professional approach is to apply Flying star Feng Shui. And the most advantages is to see especially where the water star #8 is; and if it can be activated. 2. For example, if the water star is at the living room area and a "suitable" place can be allocated for the fish tank then this is the most ideal location. In addition, in general, locations that a fish tank can be placed are locations that have water star #1 or even locations where there are bad earth e.g. if the living room location has #5 and/or #2 and /or #9. 3. Please note that Gua numbers are secondary to the above. Even if one's gua is not suited to having a water position in a home, but if say a loc…

Are you referring to the corner of the bookcase - at an angle (poison arrow) aimed at your bed? Usually, the corner of a bookshelf is made of wood; and the approximate poison arrow is around 2 feet distance. While a full concrete wall would exert a poison arrow of 1 metre distance. Often just move the bookshelf further away if possible.

From a Chinese perspective, there are "two concerns" here:- 1. This is more relevant. Three openings especially if they are totally in-line often means wealth coming in and exiting directly. Thus, it is said that money comes and goes out immediately. It is thus good that qi should not be in a direct path especially "leaking" from one side to the other or vice versa. 2. The Chinese belief that "spirits" especially bad spirits can only go in a straight line. Thus, in many instances, you will notice that Chinese platform bridges are always "turning" 90 degrees until it reaches the final span. And equally, landscaping in a garden leading towards a door is often in an "S' cu…

1. There are two sides of the coin, here. 2. In traditional symbolism interpretation, some of the older generation FS practitioners have written that if one keeps a (lone) horse figurine; it should be facing the main door. Here, under symbolism, it is said that this would imply that the breadwinner would have opportunities for travelling be it for business or pleasure. 3. Thus, if we use the above argument, then, check which direction the horse is galloping and see if the painting can face towards the door and "imagine that it goes out of the home". Some take this as getting the horses be it 5 or 100 - to gain "opportunities". As these horses are either wild or no one i…

1. Placement of a fish tank can be both (1)scientific &/or (2) based on Yin and Yang concepts; &/or (3) Shapes and Forms and lastly by personal feel or even trial and error Feng Shui. 2. Recently, someone also asked whether their placement is correct. Thus if it purely on a SCIENTIFIC way, then I have mentioned that one has to apply things like Flying Star Feng Shui. Check whether the water star #8 or alternatively the water star #1 is in the "right place". Right place is an appropriate location especially in the living room. 3. Even if the water star e.g. WS#8 is located in a bedroom, many would feed awkward having a fish tank with fishes looking at you when y…

1. You have to determine your Ba Zi element, first:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-personal-element.htm 2. As ultimately, your ba zi element will determine whether you are a weak or strong element. And your element could belong to either: metal, water, wood, fire or earth. As being a "water dog" is not enough information.

1. According to Chinese astrology, yes, the rat and horse between themselves are SUPPOSE to be the worst pairing. 2. Auto-suggestion and self-fullfilling prophecy:- 2.1. If your boss is not "into" Chinese astrology or does not take it seriously, then it is best NEVER to bring up the subject nor show him nor bring to his attention the "incompatiblity" of both animal signs. 2.2. The greatest issue is to avoid " auto-suggestion" and "self-fullfilling" prophecy... in your situation. Anonymous wrote: Hi. Can anyone help me. I was born in the year of the rat. Feb 3 1985.
