Dear Master, Thank you for the wonderful website. I've some questions which I hope you can help. Q1) May I know if the Eight Aspirations (Compass) method is the same as BTB method? Both seem to use the same 8 sectors convention (i.e. Fame, Career, Knowledge, etc) except the BTB aligns Career sector to the front door. Q2) Assume I am using Eight Aspirations (Compass) method, do I divide each sector like a pie/cake, or do I divide them into equal squares/rectangles (Luo Shu squares)? Dear Master Cecil: I am afraid that there is too much water inside my house and would like to have your advice. 1. I am a strong water. 2. The roof of my house is covered with "black" shingle. There is no way to change it because every single house in the housing development has a black shingle roof. 3. It is "blue" carpeting on the second floor of the house. 4. I have just purchased a home on a corner lot. The driveway is in the North sector and the main entrance is in the West Sector (although the path to the door is from the North). My Kua number is 4 and my husband's is 9 which makes the entrance the worst possible entrance. What can I do to detract the negative and turn it energy around that is it positive for the main entrance. The 'back door' is on the South side as it is a corner lot and only accessible through a gated yard. Would building a cedar hedge around the front of the house work? I know a little about feng shui but need help but can't afford to hire someone to help. My son's wife is on warpath and is making sure I can't talk to my son and grandkids-I've been very nice to her but it doesn't work- I live in house with front door facing East. I'm an east person. My house is clean with no clutter and I have put happy family pictures in my southwest area of my house which is my bedroom. What else can I do? Hi, Tis is the first time I am trying this. I have a hawker stall in Keck Seng Towers, Singapore and it is located in front of the toilet. The stall is honestly doing pathetic. Hey: I am new to this forum and hope to learn more from you. My 2-car garage is in the perfect North-East corner of the house (attached to the house) and I use the garage daily to enter the house. The garage orientations are: 2 doors are facing North; its outside wall is facing East; its South wall has a door to enter into the mud/utility room (having washer and dryer); its West wall is shared with the dining room. Respected Master Cecil, Please forgive if this question is redundant for you. I am new in this study and very eager to make my house a positive energy house. My bedroom (attched with bathroom)in a rented condo is rather weird, had slightly protruding beam surrounding the room. It's rectangle shape, the main door at the side, and facing two big windows (two panels each), and the shorter side of the room had one bathroom door at the center. So, the bed position is either head facing towards one of the windows or the bathroom door. Ever since moving in, things are not plain sailing. Anyway planned to shift again. How exciting to find my house has improved under Period 8! Unfortunately, however, W is the sector to activate a Mountain Star. West is in a bedroom, but our house is set on a NE/SW axis, so actual West is in the corner. Is it possible in any way to activate the Mountain Star if I can't hang a picture in the corner, or place an object of mass there? See attached photo - a closet takes up most of the SW wall. Thanks. Dear Master Cecil, I live in a 2 storey terrace link house. My house is facing southeast 2 (main road) but my main door at the side which is facing northeast 2, I have the following doubts:- a. Dear Sir, I am staying in a period 7 house with North 2/3 facing (appx 15 degree from North). I would like to know what do I need to do to change my house to Period 8 house? Dear Master Cecil, I live in a 2 storey terrace link house. My front main door is facing left side, a high wall sharing with my neighbour which is 7 feet apart. Is this bad feng shui? Can I place a small water fountain here to face the main door (distance is only 7 feet) and also to reduce the bad effect of heavy metal as we usually park our car here.
