Hello Master Cecil, My house is shaped too oddly, and I am unsure on how to place the flying star. Also, I am a bit unsure but, should I use the period 9 flying star even though this unit was built in period 8?

I recently bought a Mansionette or HDB EA flat. My parent, my wife and I got different opinion of putting our altar. My altar will be custom make around 2000-2400mm wide, 2550-2600mm height and 500-600mm depth. We pray to Dua Pek gong with wen Wu Pang guan and my ancestor My parent got opinion from er ye bo to put it at the stair facing main road, east south area. My wife got opinion from her brother in law who got some knowledge of Feng Shui. He advised her to put the altar either at the wall facing balcony (north east) or window facing entrance ( south west) My thinking is to put either near stair doing a new wall facing opposite block wall (south west ) …

Hi Master, i am considering buying a house with the attached layout. I noticed the main door seems to be facing the master bedroom door which is not good? If the bedroom door is always closed, will that still be a concern? It has a private lift. While the main door does not face the lift, it is perpendicular to it. Is that a concern? Appreciate your kind advice.

And also the roof has been modified or enhanced, this is very strong grounds for qi change. And thus, most likely, will affect your house period. 3. Hi, I recently moved into a new condo and just realized there is a river behind my condo. My balcony is facing the river and it is not visible at all covered by trees. But you can hear the river. My question, since the river is not visible, does it still have significant effects (be it good or bad) on my fengshui ?

Dear Anon, To be frank, it is quite difficult for me to give a definite answer as to whether it is Ok to paint the inside red. This is because, in a FS audit, many considerations are taken into consideration. Dear Emily, If one is applying Feng Shui, the basis of choosing colours to paint is based on one's ba zi (favourable) and if the house is owned by husband/wife, then especially for the bedroom and living room area, the binding element plus which sector the room is at can affect the consideration for the colours. Please note that this free advise forum does not cover personalised date of birth as this is usually needed in a ba zi analysis. Colours to paint is dependent on ba zi element and strength. Hello Cecil Lee, I bought a house with front door which is facing SW 3 & i have a garage in the south sector which i believe is the auspicious sector in period 9. Also due to the fact that we have a water star 9 in the south. The garage is also facing the main entrance/gate. I can enter the house through the front door or through the garage. As i understand from various forums, having garage in auspicious sector is a wasted opportunity.So, what can i do/ remedies to tap in the good energy of south sector and make use of it ? Regards Kali

Hi, Would like to seek your kind guidance on this matter. Purchased a HDB and it came with a built in altar. (modern type). What can I do with it? The owner will remove 1 glass/crystal statue away. (Not sure is what statue as I did not pay attention to it much) Can I use it as a bookshelf when I move in? Because it doesn't look like an altar at all... Dear Master Lee, My new neighbour just moved in opposite my unit. They have a bagua at the back door, which kind of faces my front door, about 45 degrees; if I stand at my front door, I still can see it. We have a high fence and a tree semi-blocking it. I am considering buying a house that has an highway-style road running behind it. The road is elevated high above the house, however there is a relatively thick screen of tall trees in between and also a decent sized back garden, so the house is not so close. Hi Shi Fu I am looking for a new place and I chanced upon this unit whose door faces the mirrored lift door directly (please refer to the picture below). To be frank I have heard that such units will bring misfortune and ill luck for the person that resides there but I wanted to know if this is true.
