Hi, I'm planning to buy a new house and now comparing these 3 condos: Central view, The Gardens at Bishan and Fontaine Parry. I know these 3 developents are of different styles and sizes so each has their good and bad points. But I want to know in terms of structure, location, site plan and unit layout, which one has better fengshui? Please kindly advise. Thanks alot! cheers, keryee

Hi Master Cecil My unit has a layout almost similar to Lawrence's one. In Lawrence case his unit has a balcony whereas mine is a lanai. So it only has windows rather than an exposed balcony. So in this case I wonder if it is discouraged to have the altar place in lanai area considering it doesn't have balcony features? Thank you.

1. Especially these few months, don't be surprised with more flooding and tree uprooting! 2. You never know! Even your neighbour's partition could (may) come crashing down due to the heavy monsoon winds! 3. If the winds can bring down the partition once, most likely it can bring it down twice or thrice! If so, I strongly believe the neighbours would give up having such a partition! Pray Hard.. it may just come true! WARNING: ABOUT THIS CARICATURE:IF SUCH A THING REALLY OCCUR; IT IS PURELY CO-INCIDENTAL AND WE ARE NOT LIABLE AT ALL FOR IT.

Further to what I had mentioned; this is another link to another "type" of ba gua mirror. URL: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=19&mid=25888&new= Apparently, this version is the latest version that has both the conVEX mirror and the ba gua trigram together. As mentioned, your purpose is to "deflect" or neutralise the sha qi from the street lamp. And it is not compulsory to add the ba gua trigram. As the main purpose of the ba gua trigram is to or suppose to "scare away evil spirits". That's all.

1. In general, there are two methods:- 1.1. Based on Traditional Compass School of Feng Shui:- You can browse this link for the various free reports:-http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports.htm The specific report that you should be looking at based on the compass direction is: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-sleep-position.htm 2. The second cateory which is either using intuitive means to locate the best bed position or commonsense Feng Shui :- Itarina L. wrote: What is the best bed position? Under a window, on the same wall as the room door, or a wall with plumbing behind it? 2.1. For the above, usually Para 1 is considered first. And see if w…

1. Feng Shui is a holistic approach. Andit is prematureto offer any solutionwithout investigative work done. 2. Might as well, use the "Flip a coin" method: Heads orTails senario.

These are some considerations:- 1. From your sketch; the lamp post does not seem to slice thru your main gate. 2. In such a situation, the sha qi from the lamp post is not a threat to your main gate area even if it is a sliding type. 3. Since it is not a threat to the main gate; from a Feng Shui point of view; there is no need to replace or update your main gate; other than for asthethic or cosmetic reasons.

Toh H. wrote: Hi, Can you kindly advise what items to buy or bring when moving into a 2nd house? Thank you. Zoey 1. Wow! Congratulations: Youare so rich!To own a " 2nd house!" 2. You can find all the resources related to: first time open door totypical move-in procedure from this url:- http://info.geomancy.net 4. These are some considerations:- 1. Never save on getting proper expert advise. 2. Usually, you should start from the exterior e.g. imagine how rain falls on the property and how it drains OUT of the home. This can affect the wealth and/or power authority or even range from loss to misfortune if not done properly. Anonymous wrote: Is itok to put the stairs or the toilet/shower areain the north sector? The north sector has flying stars 5 and 2. I asked this because I was informedNOT to putstairs nor toilet inthe north sector. 3. You must have got some advice ".. I was informed.." 1. In my opinion, there are other considerations. 2. For example, in this Sample Male person's chart, under "Your Ten Deities & Key Characteristics" Authority (zheng guan) = 4 3. Here, one considerationis that one can compare each partner's Authority (zheng guan). 4. For example, if his partner (wife's) Authority is higherthan his; then in Singapore context we can say that his wife will dominate him: 5. And in such a situation, his wife can be considered as " The Minister of Finance and Defence at home".Andthe man? His position in the home is akin to a "Minister without portfolio". 6. There are lots more that ba zi can derive information between the t…

There is one commonsense concept which Shapes and Forms Feng Shui considers critical: "Bright Hall" or "Ming Tang". This simply means that if possible the area around the entrance (or facing direction) should have "clear unblocked space". This simply means that there is some lighting best would be natural lighting at the front area. Another purpose is to allow qi to collect within the area. Even if there are steps leading down but based on the vague info, you did mentioned that there is something like 2 metre space = which I attribute to some form of a "bright hall". Which is acceptable. Not the best, but may be acceptable. Contrast this to some old buildings where the…

Wow I'm glad Kevin has added on to my thread, I'm learning a lot more. So even if the verdict is that it's a lesser devil to place the main door at S1, there's is no harm to have a water feature on SW to activate the indirect spirit right? My reason is - if calamity is going to fall on you anyway, you might aswell have somefinancial luck to cushion the bad luck coming. What do you think Master? Regards.

1. The convex mirror that you have mentioned is acceptable. 2. Based in the concept of: "if it is not seen, it no longer is a threat" could be considered (if practical) i.e. drawing down day curtains or blinds; can be considered.

Logically, if it is a "new" as in brand new home; there is no issue with construction be it good or bad sectors. Thus if you really mean NEW; then a newly built home from scratch is a very common thing: For example, someone booked a terrace home and it is under construction and have not even moved in yet. Is this is a case of over-reacting? Move-in procedures can be found under this url: http://info.geomancy.net and the usual practise of selecting a good date to move-in. For the Chinese, they don't really like to move in on the lunar 6th month; 7th month and the month of the Qing Ming also. These are some of the considerations:- 1. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui 1.1 Try not to seat prolonged facing the "sunlight". For example, the office / room is bathed by the afternoon sun. And one's table is facing this sunlight. 1.2 Many people feel uncomfortable sitting with one's backtowards an opening e.g.the door or, doorof an attached toilet or a window. 1.3 Avoid working at a "dead corner" or a location that there is no air-flow especially if one does not turn on the fan or air-con. 1.4 Avoid seating next to or sharing the same wall as the stove or the toilet bowl wall - if possible. 2. Compass School Feng Shui 2.1. Eight Houseanalysis: if possible or NICE-to-ha…

The only caution with using light cream or beige is; if say a bedroom is painted light cream or beige; and the ceiling lights is also "warm yellowish" lighting. If so, a bedroom that has any of the following combinations of 20 Year Flying Star numbers:- Mountain star = #5 or #2 or #9 with Water star = #5 or #2 or #9 with In such a situation, the best "cure" is to use "cool daylight" lighting. This is because "Warm white" or yellowish coloured light when turned on in a bedroom looks yellowish and this is further accentuated by the bedroom having light cream wall. Just imagine even when we wear a white shirt; when we turn on a "yellowish" lamp; the shirt looks "yellowi…

If one does not want to apply or has no means to apply say the Flying Star Feng Shui: "Can I place a water feature at location marked as X?". Then have to go by Trial and Error Type of Feng Shui. The most logical choice is to apply the concept, that I had coined many years back called " The Customer Service Engineer " Effect. This concept credits the way IBM Customer Service Engineer trouble-shoots "problems". Check out this "ancient" link and the term "Customer Service Engineer" .... http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=6&mid=2736&new=
