Common sense says that one should not place bedroom 1's bedroom door so close to the staircase landing. This is because someone in a hurry.. and especially in today's world.. often a person would be too engrossed with their handphone to notice others coming up or going down the stairs. Thus may trip that person. Secondly, where possible avoid the staircase directly facing a bedroom door: as shown in B. Frankly, a degree in common sense is free. One can even obtain a Master’s or Doctorate, here!

Q: Hi there, I am just wondering if fluorescent colors are different in any way from regular colors in feng-shui? Reply: The normal or regular everday use lights and their colours are 1. Cool day (slightly bluish) 2. Daylight (clear white) 3. Warm white (may sometimes affect Feng Shui) The first two are neutral colours. Please note that fancy fluorescent tubes like blue, red, green yellow are not every use. Thus not discussed, here!

Under the Principles of Management, one approach to leadership studies is the situational approach. Under the basic premise of the situational approach "Is that different situations demand differrent types of leadership. This approach was developed by Hersey and Blanchard in 1969 based upon Reddin's (1967) 3-D management style theory. In 1999, I adapted the above as: "The Situational Approach to Feng Shui" Similarly this universal concept can also be applied in Feng Shui. As different situations demand different types of Feng Shui tools & concepts.

Angular shapes often may look sharp or pointed. And may cause or create a Sha Qi or Poison arrow(s) For example, one look and one can visualise the sharp point at the bottom of this classic light:- The light looks like if it is hung in the middle of a balcony.. seems like a poison arrow or Sha Qi. However, although these lights are not rounded and may have sharp curves; it does not look anything like the above sharp point: Thus may seem pointy.. but looks more like a pussy cat when compared to the first illustration. Of course these rounded "bird cage" style lights are the safest .. to please the ultra-conservatives.

Has it got to do with common sense? Yes, if it regards to how many legs can or should a dining table have? Generalised Feng shui originated from this common sense. This is why most geomancers felt that dining tables should have four legs. This illustration seems to suggest that if one leans at the edge of the table, will the table topple down? In normal circumstances, if a table has four legs at each corner of the edge, common sense says that no way such a table can tip or topple down. Please look at the illustration, below. If quality materials and good structural integrity is there, this tabl…

Poison arrow from clubhouse roof-line. When I visited The Botannia @ West Coast recently; The trees have grown so high that they are higher than the roof-line of the clubhouse. As such, the sharp lines of the clubhouse roof-line no longer pose a threat to the 4th storey units...

Dear All, 1. Symbollically, it is not favourable to have stripes that run vertically towards the main entrance door. It is like two lines slicing towards the main door. 2. Since this is uncommon, and there are not many cases to fall back on i.e. to confirm that it is inauspicious; why not be on the safe side? 3. To find out whether the number of steps is auspicious or inauspicious, please do a SEARCH in this forum for " stairs ". Warmest Regards, Cecil

"Self-created" poison arrow in the form of a pointed main entrance foyer light. In this illustration, although the pointed tip is not exactly within the two doors; as it in the middle of the "mouth" of the house; it would be nice not to use such a lamp. "Unintentionally did it to myself"

Always ask yourself, first. Has this to do with pure common sense? Rather than rubber-stamp it as pure Feng Shui? As this is a bungalow house and it's own compound. Some owners decide to plant a prickly plant at strategic locations like corner of the home to deter would-be thieves.

Water classics and water courses Photo taken from Block 194B Just T.O.P. Skyline I looking towards block 182 Bukit Batok. There is a world of difference if water flows to the blue or to the red arrows to the stacks marked as A of the block in the photo as well as the side stacks eg. Blk 194B where I had taken the photo from. Sometimes water may flow backwards if the canal is at the mouth of a river due to tidal influences. So far I have observed that mostly this canals water flows towards the blue arrow...

HDB Punggol Edge & dim main door entrance area 1. Nowadays with better cameras on phones; the corridor photos does not actually reflect the true "darkness" at these corridors leading towards each unit's entrance. 2. Even with the lights turned on at the corridor; one can still see a hint of darkness outside the main door entrances of these flats. 3. In such a situation and also with such a narrow; the main door should not be considered as the frontage. The development:- http://www.geomancy.net/forums/topic/14931-feng-shui-of-hdb-punggol-edge/#comment-32191
