Hougang Aljunied Town Council "HQ" beliefs strongly in Feng Shui? One major goal of a water position is that nothing else can be built above it. The result? Unintentionally creating a "Bright-Hall" or Ming Tang effect. This is why 8 out of 10 times; having a water position is never a bad thing after all.

Should I get a small, medium or large flower pot? Frankly, this has more to do with common sense:- 1. For example, if one lives in a high rise apartment. And if there is no balcony grille. And if there are young children.. then best to avoid getting a medium or large flower pot. 1.1. Else these flower pots become a stepping stone to climb over say.. the railing(s). 2. Look at the attached photo. In our current heat-wave, one will notice that the two small flower pots have plants that shrivel and close to dead...

Feng Shui of HDB BTO Skyline 1 & 2 @ Bukit Batok Flying Star Feng Shui & the zone of Emptiness. So what's wrong if my apartment falls between the borderline of two sectors. ... For example: Block 296A stacks #62 & #64 found to be facing compass direction 22 degrees. Here, when the block is completed, it could either be in-between or belong to one of these sectors:- Flying Star N3 7.5 degrees to 22.4 degrees or Flying star NE1 22.4 degrees to 37.4 degrees What is worse, if the apartment falls exactly between N3 or NE1? This is known as an "Empty" home i.e. neither here nor there: no man's land.... If so, this is considered a "broken" home and wi…

Worked example of a previous TOP apartment at Foresque Residence: A. Key Summary of this unit: 1. Flying Star Feng Shui: In a north facing home; the wealth stars are wasted at the "back" of the home:- "As this unit is sitting south facing north: wasted that the double auspicious Flying stars #8's are wasted at the air-con ledge & kitchen area of the home." 2. Master Bedroom: 2.1 Option 1: Under Option 1, the bed-head direction favours "MR" and who sleeps where is also determined by the Eight House concept. 2.2. Option 2: This bed-head direction favours "MRS" and MRS sleeps closer to the balcony side as this is closest to the NW sector and her "longevity" sec…

Under symbolism in Feng Shui; this sharp arrow-tips are less then ideal: as sharp pointed arrow-tips are considered as poison arrows. Thus, if can avoid; best to avoid such arrow-tips at one's main door area.

Under Symbolism in Feng Shui; best to use even number of chairs for a dining table. What about a bench? Does it count as one chair? No. Thus, if one has a bench and 4 chairs at a dining table; the bench is not counted. Thus ideally, best to avoid having a bench with 3 chairs at a dining table. Based oncommon sense, best to avoid gaps such as those shown in the photo: Asoften, such gaps may "pinch" one's skin. Not exactly comfortable, rite?

For example, if someone is seated on the THRONE, the legs may get in the way of the swing door. Don't let an accident wait to happen. Touch wood, it may not be so; but prevention better than cure. In case another family member rush in; push hard on the door while another family member is doing some business on the throne.... See illustration.

In this illustration, the master bedroom has inauspicious Flying Stars where one should best avoid: Bright Yellow and Red. But, to circumvent this; one can always use items or e.g. bed sheets with all the primary colours.

Question: Master, may I do a quick check? Can son's bed be pushed back all the way to the wall where the window is? Reply: More to do with common sense then Feng Shui: 1. Installed grille? If not child can climb onto the window. 2. If windows open; strong winds and even some rain may come in. 3. If cigarette butt from top floor. If window always shut; no issue. Thus this has more to do with cow sense then Feng Shui.

1.IsBlock 508B stack #66 considered as a block at a "T-junction". 2. Yes, technically, this Block 508B is at a "T-junction". 3. But one should ask a further question: Is the T-junction a concern for stack #66? 4. Based on Common sense and "crime scene" enactment. 4.1. Try to imagine the country one is in. Right or left-hand drive? 4.2. Next, draw an indication of which side a road a vehicle would normally move along say Yishun Street 81 towards the junction between Yishun St 81 and Yishun Ave 4? 4.3. Please see attachment. 4.4. The red line(s) and arrow shows an imaginary situation if a vehicle plows through Yishun St 81 and straight towards Block 508B stack 66. 4…

In my opinion, this has more to do with common sense. Please see sample photo. The test is whether a person or child leaning on the edge of a table can topple it down? Thus this has more to do with the centre of gravity of the legs of the table and how stable the table top is.

This is not Feng Shui. But because some say it is inauspicious and cannotdraw a line between what is Feng Shui andsymbolism in Chinese culture. Under symbolism in Chinese culture, it is best not to have a straight row of three (3) pendant lights especially at the dining table. These lights are often found installed above a dining table and/or bar counter and/or breakfast niche.

For start of business on Chinese New Year (CNY) 2015; for a business that cannot afford to close too long; then the next best date to re-open is on Tuesday, 24th February which is the 6th day of the 1st lunar month.
