Can I hang a protruding light at the bedroom hallway? Reply: Often an aircon serviceman or something carrying a ladder may have to pass through this narrow corridor. Most of the time, the service person does not look up and at times, the tip of the ladder may hit or damage a protruding hallway light. Thus it is preferred to use flushed lights to ensure or minimize such an accident (if any)

Hi Master Cecil, now 7th month, can make offer for property? Reply: Nothing to do with Feng Shui. Up to individuals. Understand if a home is "occupied" and one move-in and disturb THEM. But how can signing an agreement anger THEM. That's all I have not bought a house during 7th month.. but got buy a car during this period. LOL Thus generally, if one is concerned and checked with parents who find it a taboo.. then don't else.. frankly.. not an issue

Location: Blossom Residences When determining the frontage of the house, one of the key considerations is whether the potential frontage has a natural light "bright hall" effect. Time photo taken was at 9am - bright sunshine outside. Here, these two units's main entrance door is dim = yin. And less likely to be considered as the frontage of the home(s). For these two units; the potential frontage should usually be standing inside the living room looking out of the balcony or if no balcony looking out of the windows. And if the rest of the bedrooms also overlook this direction; then this is the most likely frontage.

Hello Master, I am going to buy a car and wanted some fengshui advice on the car plate number, colour and auspicious date to buying a car ? The fee for this package is $188/-. Need Name /Gender/ Date and if possible time of birth. Car plate number, there are many many formulas. Thus what one provides may contradict with another person’s advice. The rest is based on ba zi. Cecil, we saw a wooden 葫芦at a fengshui shop and is selling at $59.90 including service by fengshui master to 开光. Why need to 开光？then the person say if put at toilet, should buy the bronze instead of wood type. Is that true or just sales talk?

I'm sorry, I'm still not completely sure. If we move the washing machine from its current spot by the window to the washing basin area with a front-loading model, will this be better and not affect the three bedroom layouts? Reply: This isn’t a Feng Shui issue; it's mainly about common sense. Whether it’s detergent or powder, these can contaminate the bedroom. If the washing machine is warm, soap fumes or powder could spread into the bedroom. This is simply a matter of practicality, not Feng Shui.

Is common sense still Fung Sway? LOL Hi Cecil, good morning...we would like to buy main door entrance lights cos got 12.12 sale and would like to seek your advise if any of these are not suitable. Is there any design, material, colour etc that should be avoided? Is white/cool white/warm light preferred or doesn't matter? Reply: Must be careful later whether door can open or not.
