  1. Hi Cecil, I read the forums frequently and hope you can help me! We purchased our first home May 16 2002. We purchased the 'model home' on a corner lot within a new subdivision (we are the first owners). Since moving to this home, I have broken my leg (on our property even! In Oct 2002) as well as being laid off (in March 2003) from a good job I held for over 4 years. I am now concerned that our home is not compatible with the positive feng shui principles. I was hoping that you could give me some pointers to correct these issues and improve our lifestyle and especially my career. Please find attached our homes interior maps for both the main floor and upper floor, as well as a frontal picture of our home and a picture of what our home faces. Our front door faces 230 degrees (SW). *Please note that we have the 'optional ensuite' (indicated on the floor map) in the master bedroom which creates a wall when entering the master bedroom. We also have the fireplace where it indicates it as optional. As well, we live on a small quiet cresent, but after our street there is a large piece of enscarpment then a two lane road that can get very busy with traffic from both directions. I have put up a windchime in front of my door (see 1st picture) and am looking to purchase a pagua mirror for above the front door to ward off the negative energies we could be experiencing because of the traffic (Should I put this pagua mirror or bau-gua mirror above the front door even though we have a porch with an overhang?, or put it centered on the front porch upper portion across from the front door?). As well, across from the main road we have two water reservoir ponds, one medium and one quite large. They are viewable from most of the windows on the front of our home, as well as the front porch. (see 2nd picture taken from our '4th' bedroom window) If you could offer help regarding the best positions for our bed in the master bedroom, as well as some tips to 'fixing' our feng shui in areas for my career and even our family section, as we would soon like to begin our family and have thus had trouble conceiving so far in this last year in the house. (I was born May 10/1974 7:22am EST and I am female). Our house number (street address) is 53, but our block# is 229 Unit 60. Thanks so much for your time and your invaluable help! Lorie
  2. I intend to buy a house. Everythings of the house is perfect except for 2 points. 1. the main gate is facing NW. 2. There is a wide drainage running infront of the main gate about 6m wide. I was told that both the above 2 points are inauspicious. Anyone please advice. Thank you.
  3. I am moving to an acreage and I can choose an even numbered address any number between 55200 and 55298. What would be the best number? I have had conflicting information regarding the number 5. Some say it does not mean anything, where some say it negates positive numbers that follow it. Example: I would think that 55298 would mean something like either "Nothing nothing easy enough prosperous" or "No no easy enough prosperous". Not sure whether 2 nos make a yes.:)) Someone also suggested 55 means "Sky" Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
  4. Hello Master Lee, When asked for birth dates for fengshui purposes, does it matter which date (solar or lunar calendar) is used? Thanks, Yenni
  5. Dear Cecil Your site is well built, I found some answers to my problems but I am still puzzled with our new environment. My in-law just bought this house and we moved in with her. We stay in the master bedroom which I know there exists some problems; yet I know there's nothing as perfect. My husband's career has been very bad these days. Hence, I am attaching the floor plan of my bedroom hoping you can help us. My husband's birthday is April 19, 1953. My questions for my bedroom are as follows: 1) If we don't want to remove the mirrored cabinet doors (my husband is not convinced yet, and I want to prove it to him) is there any other way we can do? 2) He sleeps on the right side of the bed, hence his feet point at the bathroom door. What can we do? Also, for downstairs (please refer to 2nd graph), do you think we need to cut down the tree in the front? (It's a very small tree). In addition, is the main entrance in line with the patio door creating a bad qi? (We usually don't use the main entrance, we enter through the garage). I really really appreciate your help. Regards Zoe
  6. Dear Master Lee, Thanks for your clarification. It has been bothering me for the past few years. As a matter of fact, I have moved from Malaysia to HK for work and feeling settled now and have become PR (more than 7 years). Well, I am not sure if it suitable to use the word "emigrate" because the distance is not really far anyway. For the past few years, things have been "so-so" - not really bad, and not extremely good. From time to time, I will think of the statement that person made stating that my "BA ZI" will not "allow" me to stay overseas. I have been working hard and try not to relate any negative stuffs with that "statement" he made. Thanks GOD I found your web and the clarification you made. I guess, maybe it is more psychological or .. well, I don't know. Master Lee, if you have further comment, please advise. Thanks for your support. Regards, ck wrote in message news:13029.6695@forum.geomancy.net...
  7. Dear Master Lee, I am wondering if our "BA ZI" will tell us if we are suitable to emigrate to another country ? I am planning to emigrate to another country but I was told long time ago, (about 15 years I think) I should not emigrate but he did not tell me the reasons. By the way, he was using my date-of-birth and did some calculations and things like that but I couldn't remember exactly what he did. The only think I remember was - it was about my "BA ZI". Is it possible to check if one is suitable to emigrate or not by the BA ZI analysis (or other related method ) ? Please advise. Regards, kc
  8. Dear Master Lee, The numbering system is somewhat different from Singapore, we have blocks number, followed by floor and unit number (A-H) normally for apartments. What about Tower 6, 18th Floor, Flat G ? In that case, should it be .. #6-186 ? #6 = Tower 6 18 - 18th Floor 6 = G Or #18-66 ? 18 = 18th floor 6 = Tower 6 6 = G Thanks for your advice. 10. Dear Master Cecil, I heard an interesting statement that even Feng Shui can be applied to homepages (web site). How true is this statement ? Is so, is it about combination of colors and graphics and company logo etc ? What about the 2D and 3D effect. In the real world, we have shaped, mountain, waters etc. But in the cyber world, everything is virtual, flat. Interesting. Thank you. Regards, Curious
  11. Dear Master Lee, Thank you very much for your time and advice. Very detailed explanation. Regarding the screen you suggested, does the screen need to be as wide as the door ? I know that, it must be at least the same height as the door. e.g. Can the screen be half the size of the door's width ? http://198.66.6.160/1.jpg ? Or must the width of the screen be at least the same as the door ? http://198.66.6.160/2.jpg ? Thank you. Regards, Ken wrote in message news:12935.6652@forum.geomancy.net...
  12. Dear Master Lee, Amazing. Thanks for all the invaluable information and great help. It seems that the flat (15th floor) has got missing corners and according to your notes at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/g-a-f.htm, all missing corners bring some kind of bad luck. Will putting a mirror helps for my case ? Master Lee's comment of the center of the house http://198.66.6.160/1.gif The flat has got two windows at the missing corner zone - wondering if placing mirrors at the wall will help. Of course, I believe it has to depend of the reflection of the mirror, right ? Please advise. Windows at missing corners http://198.66.6.160/2.jpg Secondly, regarding the center of the house. Since there is a wall blocking the view from the center point to the main door, (refer to the link JPG) http://198.66.6.160/3.jpg I am using your technique described in the FS resources. Please comment if the measurement is correct. My findings. http://198.66.6.160/5.jpg (ha ! Chinese will skip no 4 ) Thank you very much. I have difficulty finding the center of the flat. Attached are two files (center01.jpg and center02.jpg) of my possible findings and not sure if there are correct. Please advise. And, for my second question, (attachment: doorToWindow.jpg) the main door of the house is facing the window. Is this consider not appropriate as described in your free course? If so, what are the remedies? Please advise. Thank you very much. **** end of Previous post ***** Thank you. Regards, Ken
  14. Dear Master Lee, I have got a crystal roof lamp (a gift) installed in the middle of the roof of the bedroom. Since the crystals has got different shapes some are rounds, diamond shape and some are pointed, I feel quite uneasy with it esp. when the pointed ones POINTS right below at me when I am in a sleeping position. Is it advisable to remove the lamp ? Please advise. Regards, ken
  15. Dear Anon, Please check your .jpg files again before posting as they are too small i.e. only 1k files and cannot be opened. - Cecil Dear Master Lee, I am studying your FS materials and analysing an not-rectangular shape house. 16. Dear Master Lee, Need your advice on the "facing direction" concept. Anyway, I remember I read a book some time ago and it stated that, the facing direction of a house is not necessary be the main door of a house. It can be a window, or even the back door - depends on "what" or "where" it faces. For instance, if the back door faces a busy main road and the main door faces a wall or jungle (somehow), then, the facing direction will be measured from the center point to to the back door. (and not the main door) How true is this statement? For my case, I am staying in HK and most of the people here stays in flats. The main door either faces the neighbour's door or a wall. But, however, normally the balcony or windows of the living room faces directly to the sea, another block and the busy main street. Does that mean the facing direction of the house is measured differently i.e. not to the main door ? Secondly, regarding the sleeping position. When you say the sleeping position is West, does that mean the arrow of the compass that points right towards the back of our head shows WEST ? (after adjusting the arrow to points to north ?) i.e. ^ NORTH -------|o -- Regards, Ken
