  1. Hi Cecil Hopefully I have found the right method to reply to you this time. Sorry I am not that technical. Thank you very much for your kind offer of assistance, but things financially are not as bad as that yet. But thank you. I am in contact with Robert who will hopefully give me some technical advice so that I can get an audit, then hopefully things will get sorted from there. I guess from your no comment reference the roof, that it is a poison arrow that is pointing at me, as I sit under my sloping ceilings. I will keep the curtains drawn so that I can't see it! Regards Kate
  2. Hi Cecil I am referring to a previous message. I could not work out how to return a message to you, so I will have to start again. I have recently started a business running from a bedroom out of my home. Since I started up, I have had a seemingly endless string of bad luck, and now finances are bad. I have lived in this house for 10 years and I have been happy and successful here. You previously advised me to have an audit. I am working up to this. I am a little scared that the outcome could be negative, because I can't move house. I get confused about the various schools of thought re FS . So I am in the process of finding out more about it, really to test the water. My house is a Victorian cottage in Berkshire UK. The Maindoor of the property and my home office both are on the East side of the property, which is one of my good directions. It has some sloping ceilings upstairs. But according to what I have read so far I can't find anything to bad about it. However when I stand at the window of my office, there is a triangular shaped section of tiled roof pointing directly at me. There are also 2 other sections of roof shaped like so, /\/\. When I sit at my desk which faces South (my best direction) the window is to my immediate left. What constitutes a poison arrow? Is this a poison arrow? If so what can I do about it? Is there a cure, like a blind or something? Regards Kate
  3. I live in the England in the countryside, where it is usual to use the back door for more often than the front door. We have a front door which is used by strangers, and the post man. It has all the usual features such as lighting, letter box etc. Everyone else (including us) use the back door. To get to the front door you walk through a small metal gate from the road across a grass lawn. All the cars approach via the back entrance and we have a car park at the rear of the property. Which door should I treat as our main entrance, the front or the back door? Regards Kate
  4. Hi Cecil Thanks for your advise. The window of my company's office, which is in a bedroom, and my front door are both on the east side of the property. This is my Fu Wei location. According to your charts this should be positive. I have a high evergreen hedge which masks my neighbor's house from down stairs. However, standing at my office window, there is definitely a triangular shaped sector of tiled roof pointing straight at me. There are also two other sections of the roof shaped like /\ /\ also pointing at me. To make things worse until recently I had a mirror opposite this window to make the room lighter. I have now removed it. My desk is facing south so the window is directly to the left of my desk. I can't move house, and I can't move my business until it picks up. Will this situation bring me bad luck in business? What will this poison arrow mean to me? I have had allot of bad luck in business of late. Although in life I am very happy. Is there anything I can do, such as mask it with a blind or curtain? Is there a cure? Regards Kate
  5. I have recently started up a business working from a bedroom of my home, which is a Victorian cottage in Berkshire, England. I have lived in the house for 10 years and I have been happy here. Things have not been great financially since I started my new company, so I have been trying to apply some Feng Shui principles to my home in order to hopefully improve wealth, success and luck in my career. I have read in Sarah Shurety's book that sloping ceilings are a bad thing. Most of the bedrooms in my house have a sloping ceiling on one side of the room, where the ceiling meets the out side wall. The wall is still sufficiently high enough to walk up to it without any obstruction. Is there any cure for sloping ceilings? Regards Kate
  6. I run a small business out of a bedroom in my home. Opposite my office window is a house, which has several triangular shaped sections of the roof pointing towards me. I live in England and the design of roof is quite common in the countryside. Is this a bad thing, and is there any cures? Regards Kate
