Dear Cecil I have some confusion about water behind a house being good or bad. Much of what I read says that as long as one cannot see where it leaves the property, it is okay. But, water flow direction is important, only I can't seem to figure out which direction is good or bad. Here is the situation. Our property is 11 acres, bisected at about 2 acres across by a seasonal creek. We plan to build our home in the front two acre section, with a west-facing front door. The creek direction flows south to north, so as you are looking out the front door, the water would be flowing behind you from left to right. Is this good or bad? Further, I should say that this creek is only running in the summer months through water rights for irrigation off the river, which is about 1/2 mile from our property. The rest of the year, this creek bed is dry. It is lined with trees. Thank you in advance for your reply. Michele

Dear Cecil: We are building a new home and plan to use radiant heat, which heats the home through a series of pipes under the flooring. Economically, this has many advantages over forced air furnaces (e.g. more efficient, less dust, etc.). Any concerns here relative to feng shui? Thanks.

dear Cecil: We are building a new home for which we must drill a well to supply water to the property. The builder has suggested putting the collection cistern for this well in the basement of the house. Is this a good or bad idea? If bad, then where should one locate the well in relation to the house? Thank you.

Dear Cecil The free report lists my best door facing position as NE (Excellent). I am surprised, as I thought my Sheng Chi direction (SW) would be preferable. I am female, but the breadwinner for my family. Does that change the result? Thanks very much, Michele

How does one undertake this advice for inauspicious days:"You should strengthen your main elements with your favourable elements during this day to avoid or reduce any chance of encounter problems". First, what is my main element? Is that the same thing as my Most Favorable Element that I was told through my Ba Zi Report? My birthday is August 2, 1954. So, I strengthen Earth with Metal??? How?
