  1. Dear Master, I am thinking about removing our old carpet and install bamboo hardwood floor (very popular nowadays). But I am unsure if this is harmful for me and the family as far as feng shui is concerned. I recalled a fortunteller told me that based on our four pillar analyses, both my husband and I are "earth" persons and my daughter is a "water" person, therefore we should avoid hardwood floor and wooden beds. If bamboo hardwood floor is not good for us, how about fake hardwood floor, i.e. laminated floor with wooden grains? Please advise! Best regard and thank you in advance for your help!
  2. Dear Master, I have purchased a brand new house in 1998 which is facing 183 degree (S2) with front door at the South side of the house facing also 183 degree, sitting N2. It is rectangular shaped. Based on Flying Star analysis, my house has a perfect "sum of ten" (mountain star and period star)in all 9 palaces built in Period 7. With Period 8 coming, I am not sure this house would be as auspicious as in period 7, since the chi of period 7 house declines in period 8. Can you enlighten me with my dilemma? Thank you so much for your help! Wang Jing
  3. Dear Master, I read in a Flying Star Feng Shui book by a famous author that you can change the Flying Star natal chart of the house by remodeling. i.e. if you have a house that is built in period 5, you can change the house into a period 7 (if remodeled in period 7) or period 8 (if remodeled in period 8) house by putting in new roof and new carpeting or flooring. Thus the old house would have a new natal chart in the remodeled year instead of original built year. Is this a valid statement? So if I buy a house that has bad flying star natal chart, I can remodel the house and make it have more auspicious flying star natal chart based on the new period. Thank you in advance for your advise! Wang Jing
  4. Dear Master, Thank you very much for your reply on the house number analysis. I have a nagging question that has been puzzling me: A fortune teller based on my Ba Zi and told me the best house direction for me is South facing. However, my Kua number indicated the best direction for me is North East and the worst direction is South. Which is correct? I would assume the Ba Zi is a more accurate analysis since it is based on my birth year, month, date and hour while Kua is only based on my birth year. Am I correct in assuming that? This will help greatly while I am looking for a new house currently. Thank you in advance for your advise! Best Regards, Wang Jing
  5. Is the House Number Analysis result only applied to Period 7? Will the analysis result change when Period 8 comes for the same house with the same number and build year? I am thinking about buying a house but not sure when Period 8 comes next year, the luck of the house will be changing. Thank you so much for your help!! My regards! Wang Jing
