  1. I live alone in my own apartment. Is itOK to sleep any where as I fancy, like in the living room? On the subject of sleeping,is it true that it is bad fengshui to sleep on low or no platform bed (as oppose to a normal raised bedframe)?
  2. What then is the best option if: My best position is head pointing north. This means my bed must be placed at 45 degrees to the wall.If I align it against either wall that forms the corner,my head will be pointing in my worst directions,ie,NE or NW.Other bed positions are not suitable because it faces a mirror or the door. If I sleep alone in a queen size bed, should I sleep diagonally with my head pointing north?Which is more important - the position of the bed in thedesired corner of the bedroom or the head pointing direction?
  3. Windchimesare said to have enhancing or suppressing "powers" depending on the material, design and location. Can you please elaborate? Is there a difference if I hang a purely ornamental windchime made of seashells or glass, instead of a traditional one made of brass rods.Do the number of rods have any significance?
  4. In modern highrise living, the "main door" of an apartment unit is often just a means to get in and out of the house and nothing more.It is kept shut most of the time, and may even be located at the "back" next to the kitchen.Often, there is also no "back door".Would it be more logical then to assume the balcony, with its sliding window or door as the "main door"?
  5. If my desired sleeping position is such that I have to place my bed diagonally across the room, can I achieve the same fengshui effect by sleeping diagonally across the bed(because placing the bed at an angle is awkward)?
  6. The sharp pointed roofs of a neighbouring condominium block point directly towards my living/bed rooms which have a wide expanse of glass windows. Are there other options than a traditional Bakua mirror to deflect the poison arrows?Should I hang a metal windchime? If so,one with six or five rods?
