Good day Master, In 2014, flying star 5 flies to the NW. I am living in a period 6 house and my bedroom is in the NW with 5 mountain star, 9 water star and 7 base star. Since there will be two 5 stars in my room located in the NW, should I add more metal to my room? Or is the fact that I'm in the NW (which represents metal) area enough to neutralize the stars? Dear Master, I know that main door facing the staircase is not good feng shui. However, I'm wondering about the bathroom door facing the staircase. Our 3rd floor bathroom door is directly facing our stairs so when we go up the 3rd floor, the bathroom door is the first thing we see. Is this bad feng shui? If it is, how do we lessen the negative energy? By the way, when you open the bathroom door, the sink is the first thing you see and not the toilet. Thanks for your help!

Good Morning Master Lee! I plan to repaint our South room from the present yellow to another color. What color would you suggest? I live in a Period 6 W3 house. The stars in the South room is 8m 3w and 1b. I was thinking of light blue and white or turquoise and white. It's a big room so I don't want the entire room to be blue or turquoise. I plan to have two sides of the wall painted blue and two sides painted white. What do you think? What are the best colors? I was thinking that since the South represents fire and the South will be visted by #2 in 2011, then maybe the blue and white colors will help suppress #2? This is just a guess! I think that it's baloney that a feng shui adviser would say that. Why put an age limit to when to get married? That's absolutely ancient. This is already the 21st century, a male or female or gay can get married any age they want. If they want to legalize their union at a later age, that's their choice. People don't get married nowadays because they want to have kids, in fact some couple's don't want to have kids.?

Upon looking at the Wood Tiger in Metal Year 2010 Forecast: I see two types of earth tiger: weak earth tiger and strong earth tiger. So is my mother a strong earth tiger - because yang represents strong? Or is she weak earth tiger? Also, What does the Yin and Yang mean in description of the animal signs? I have considered those factors as wel: Well, the number of steps seems to be good - It's 10 steps, then LANDING, another 10 steps again, then 2nd floor. There are no open spaces between the stairs. There is no toilet and bathroom underneath the stairs The direction of the stairs is not facing the main door and not facing the toilet. The staircase is facing a wall.

Recently. I have visited some modern homes with staircases that have openings between each step. Also, these staircases have a small pool of water underneath it. It's just a small square of water - no koi fishes, no running water. Just stagnant clean water. What is your opinion about this? Thanks.

Hello Master Lee, I have read a few books written by different feng shui masters saying that there should be no bed on a cantilevered 2nd floor. According to them, since a cantilevered floor is suspended with no solid foundation underneath, the person sleeping in this area will have restless sleep or sense of insecurity. What is your take on this? Cantilevered 2nd floors are common in townhouses. Sometimes I see the 2nd floor cantilevered with a bedroom in that area and the car garage underneath. What are your thoughts on this? Is it okay for you to have a bedroom in this area? What are the cures, if any at all? Thanks again for your expertise. Note: I have included a photo of a cantilevered 2nd floor. As you can see, the master's bedroom is on cantilevered floor. I am not sure if the Jr. Master's bedroom (located on the 3rd floor) is still considered sitting on cantilevered floor? Si pic.

Master Lee, I have a few questions about toilet locations. I am interested in this townhome. However, I am concerned about two things: 1. I noticed that the maindoor has a toilet area/sector on both sides of the maindoor (the left and the right). See attached photo. 2. On the 3rd floor, when I go up the stairs, I see the toilet door upon reaching the top landing of the 3rd floor. In effect, the toilet door faces the stairs on the 3rd floor. Please see photo. Another Q, we know that Death is the worst direction. Which is the least bad direction? If you had to rate 1 to 4 with 1 being the least bad direction and 4 being the death direction, how would you rate disaster, spook and irritation? I ask this because we plan to build a house or transfer to another house. My partner and myself belong to the East group. My mother belongs to the West group. We are looking into a South facing home, but it spells disaster for my mother. So if ever we get this house, even though it's a disaster for my mother...is it okay if we put her in a West location because it's a longevity area for her? At least that's a compromise? I count the stairs as step 1 + 10 steps. I count is as such because 1 step is all black granite material and thus it is a separate count from the 10 steps which is all wood. Is my counting correct or incorrect? In this case, step 1 is auspicious + 10 steps auspicious. HOWEVER, if I count them altogther as 11 steps then the stairs become inauspicious, right? So which is the correct count? Thank you for your input.
