  1. Our northwest kitchen is white - cupboards, walls, appliances. It has a 7 3 9 configuration with a yearly 6. Is there any color useful as an accent, (bowls, dishclothes, etc.) or is it best to keep everything white? From what I am reading in these posts, neutrals are always the best option to dilute any malicious stars, though I am somewhat confused by the place of beige in the color scheme. I consider it a neutral, though it would symbolize the earth element, correct?
  2. After much measuring, and attempting to move my bed, it seems there is no way out of this dilemma. The bedroom itself occupies two squares, but the bed unfortunately, has to remain in the middle, so shares a 1 6 6 and a 5 1 2 configuration. What can I do to mitigate the 5 1 2?
  3. For the new year I have earth star eight in the northeast portion of my living room. My base star is 9, the mountain star is 7 but the water star is two. Should I try to enhance the eight in any way, or just use a metal cure to negate the two?
  4. Do the flying stars change positions at the Chinese New Year?
  5. The center of my house has 6 as the base star, 4 as the mountain star and 8 as the water star, with 5 as the yearly star. It is a hallway with a light. Given the 5 as the yearly star, what should I do to minimize negative energy in that sector?
  6. For the new year I have earth star eight in my northeast living room. My base star is 9, the mountain star is 7 but the water star is two. What enhancements can I use for 8 that will also negate the bad influence of the 2? Would judicious use of fire elements drown out the two?
  7. I live in a mobilehome which faces the "street" in the mobilehome park. However, because of the way the house is placed, one cannot use the formal front door, as it leads out onto a porch without stairs. We open that door for air, but do not enter or exit through it. We drive up to the west side of the mobilehome and enter through that door - the family uses only that door. That door does face the side of the mobilehome next door, does that present a problem? I would assume that as we use only this door, that that is the door to be used in determining the facing and sitting position of the home.
  8. In the new year my dining room will be period 8, with mountain 8 and water 4. Is it a good idea to hang a painting of a mountain in this spot to strengthen the good aspects?. The alternative is a butterfly print with leaves, but I do not know if that would be helpful at all, or neutral.
