I think I am a metal person in a wood year ..I have been told that i am a weak fire, and therefore acting may not be the right profession for me. Is that true. And if it is so, what is the curesince Iam very interested in this art form.. how are my pillars henceforth. I would be very grateful if you could advise me on this crucial decision in my life.. as you will realise ,i cannot afford to go wrong at this juncture since there is no time for experiments. dear cecil, after saving up for many years, i purchased a dream apt. on the topmost floor[7th floor] comprising both the flats and therefore the whole floor. it's a terrace flat open in all directions. the said flat is under litigation with the builder and so i haven't received physical possession since the last 4 yrs. an indian vaastu expert and a black hat f.s. expert advised me against residing there saying it would be disastrous for my family and me. they considered it totally inauspicious since the elevator and the staircase are situated in the centre of the floor. this left me quite aghast. it is a fact though that since the purchase, i've experienced serious financial setbacks and am in debt over the payment of the flat. so even without shifting into it, life has taken a downward slide which may or may not be a coincidence. any remedies or cures? i have already set my mind to the eventuality of not being able to live there. regards, niteka.

dear cecil, thanks for your prompt reply, although it's put me in a deep quandary. back in india all we hear about is the 8 point method of feng shui being advocated vociferously even in national newspapers. consequently i have been reading raphel simmons' step by step and jon sandifer and therefore the query since turtles and fishes are being advised as the latest 'miracle cures'. there are FS experts so to say, who are charging per sq. ft., giving public lectures on the fixed template theory, as you call it. what is the school or method that you subscribe to. i'm very eager to gain more knowledge on your system. pl advise me the best books on the subject or any other relevant source. regards, niteka.

dear cecil, i have placed an aquarium with 1 turtle in the north area of my living room corresponding to the career area being ruled by no.1. i already have another fish tank with 8 gold fishes and 1 black fish in the money room in the north west area. my husband is a no.9 fire star. if females are supposed to have a different birth star then i am no.6 metal, otherwise acc to the birth year, i too am a no.9 fire star. please advise. regards, niteka.
