  1. Yesterday I found a book - I think by Lillian Too - that said that all multiples of the standard imperial foot plus auspicious lengths of the ruler where auspicious. Still - one has to wonder - one book is not enough. -Vincent
  2. Hi! I am very curious about what feng shui has to say about roomdimensions. The fs-ruler is too short, and I can't think of any reasonable way to extend it. I read about one architect here in Sweden whos favourite room dimension was 3.6m x 3.6m; but the *feeling* I get of that dimension (when I test it) is that it is very oldfashioned and boring. Please enlighten me with a very thorough and precise answer and I'll be forever grateful :-) Thank you beforehand! -Anon
  3. Hi! Two things here in Sweden seems to be new in interiors; and I am curious what you fine Feng-Shui people have to say about them. The first is called "stove-island" in direct translation from swedish, and is exactly what it sounds like; namely having the stove standing alone in the middle of the kitchen floor in a small bench for pots and similar. Naturally with the same ventilation as if its in the wall. The rest of the kitchen is traditional, with sink and kitchen benches along the walls. Is this good or bad feng-shui? The second is having the heating of the house put into the floor - either watercarried or by electricity. This means of course you are walking on either running water or electric currency, which I am curious of about how healthy that is? Best! -Anon
  4. Hi, my name is Anon (of Sweden). I am born 1966, dec 6, (Fire-horse, month of the rat, hour of the snake). According to 8-house, I am a west-house person, but we have a south-apartment. I sit and work in the SW-sector, which is health-sector for a west-house. Q: Is it still health-section in a south-apartment? According to the Ba-gua sections, it is knowledge, and I sit in the marriage section of that room (SW corner), however I am facing north which is disaster in west-house. Q: Is it a bad idea facing north (abit hard to change direction and still follow form-school in placing furniture) ? at the west wall of the room there is a large window , and the door is at the eastern side of the northern wall. I am a student of literature, and wish to launch a career as an author as well as an academic career. Q: Am I sitting in a good spot/direction? Best and thank you beforehand! :-) -Vincent
