  1. Dear Cecil/Robert, I would like to know from Feng Shui point of view, is it alright to vacate the master bedroom and move the bed to another bedroom? The reason being we found that the master room does not fall on any of our good locations and positioning our bed to point to our good directions are also not possible due to limitations such as built-in furniture, attached toilet, space problem etc. Thanks for your opinion. Best Wishes, Peggy
  2. Hi Cecil, There seems to be a little confusion here. I?m Hannah, the one who asked you the topic on ?Health/Excel line indented, bed in wrong position?, giving you a drawing of the layout. I think the reply given above seems to be for me. But I?d like to highlight to you that the topic asked above is from Mercury. We are two different individuals. My feedback to your first reply is under the original ?Health/Excel line?? topic. I still have some unanswered questions which I appreciate further advice from you. Thank you. Best Regards, Hannah
  3. Dear Cecil, Thank you so much for taking time to reply my queries. We have considered your suggestion of shifting the bed to opposite side of the room. This may be too costly for us at the moment since on the opposite side of the room we have some fixed (built-in) wardrobe and shelves, if you have noticed from my drawing. We would have to hire carpenters to rebuild these wardrobes if we were to shift them because they were initially built with the intention of covering the unsightly almost-one-foot beam on whole stretch of this wall. In my previous e-mail, I mentioned the possibility of shifting the bed to the wall adjacent to the toilet wall, the other only available wall in the room. This means that the headboard will be on the same wall as the door. This will also render one side of the bed against the toilet wall. Both of us will also NOT be sleeping in our good positions (husband = Death, me = Disaster). Is this worse than placing the bed on the same wall as the toilet? This difficult question has caused me to ponder whether to shift the bed. Please advise us further. Also, just to let you know that the ceramic floor tiles throughout the living/dining room and our bedrooms are white with faint gray patterns (like marble flooring) on them. The reason why we have never considered painting the house white is that, with the white tiles the whole house would look too ghastly. The living/dining room is painted the colour of lavender whereas our master bedroom is painted peach and the rest of the rooms are in very light green. Any comments? Are green plants (Wood) bad for both of us because we do have several live and artificial plants(inside) both inside and outside the house? Thanks a lot! Best Regards, Hannah
  4. Dear Cecil, We were not aware of Feng Shui (FS) when we bought our apartment. Since then, we have had miscarriages more that once (checked no medical reason) and still no children. Then we started to look at FS. My husband's main door is facing NW while mine faces NE(husband = strong Earth; me = strong Fire). Our rather new 3-year-old apt has a SE main door, inauspicious for both of us. The SW corner of this house is also indented and has 2 toilets located there. Our master bedroom is situated in SW sector of the house (husband = Health; me = Excellence), with an attached toilet in its SW. I?ve drawn the layout in .JPG for your reference. My husband sleeps nearer to the bedroom door. A friend told me that it is extremely inauspicious to place a bed against the toilet wall. Do you agree? With this layout, none of us is sleeping in our Good locations. The only way we can reposition is to shift the bed to the East wall which is also a Bad location for both of us. We intend to buy a bigger more comfortable bed, but whether placing it in the South or East will render one side of the bed against the wall. With 2 sides of the room having fixed cabinets and general space constraint, what would you suggest to improve our situation? Thank you very much for your kind assistance in advance. Best Regards, Hannah
  5. Dear Cecil, I've read in books that wall clocks should only be placed on adjacent walls to the door or on the same wall as the door. Does that mean that placing it on the opposite wall to the door is bad Feng Shui?
