  1. Dear Cecil and Robert, I am planning to built a water fountain (3 feet in diameter, round) in the front porch of my house. I also plan to create a small water fountain and hang a water picture in the north corner of my living room. Will this be too much water for the house? If yes, which should I choose to have. Is it better to have water outside the front of the house or inside. Thanks. Randy
  2. Dear Cecil and Robert, My bed is placed in such a way that when I sleep, my head is pointing to my death direction (SE). Based on the 8 house chart provided by you, I would like to sleep with my head pointing to the excellent direction (NE) or the prosperity direction (SW). However, if I sleep this way, I will not have solid support of the wall behind me. Which is more important, to have solid support of the wall or to tap into my auspicious direction. My bed is facing the entrance of the attached bathroom (this is not the toilet door). It also faces the mirror in the bathroom. There is no solid door at the entrance now. I am considering the following 3 ways so that my wife and I don't see the mirror when we sleep. 1) hang a curtain on the entrance 2) install a solid wood door 3) place a screen at the entrance Which will be the best way to do this? Thanks. Randy
  3. Dear Robert and Cecil, I read that the center of the house should not have a staircase and toilet. Sad to say, my house has both a staircase and a toilet located in the center. Is there a cure for this? Please help. My bedroom occupies the south sector (disaster) and half the SW sector (prosperity) of the house. The entrance of the bedroom door is located in the SW sector and also faces SW. My bed is located in the SE sector of the bedroom. Will I encounter a lot of difficulties in this case. My kua no. is 8. Is it more important to have the main door face a good direction or for it to be located in a good sector. Also, is it more important to get the main door face a good direction or for the bedroom to be located in a good sector. I find that it is really difficult to find a perfect house unless you build it from scratch. Thank you.
  4. Dear Cecil and Robert, I would like to thank you for answering my previous feng shui questions. I have 2 other questions. 1) How do you apply the 8 house theory for a 2 storey house. I have a house with a larger floor plan for the ground floor (because it has a garage). Do I take the 2 levels as separate floor plan and divide it into 2 sets of 8 house theory? This would mean that the center of the ground floor is not the center of the 2nd floor since the upper level is smaller. Please advise as this is a little confusing for me. 2) Is it more important to have the bedroom situated in one's best location of the house (but the head is pointing to one's bad direction) or is it more important to sleep with one's head pointing to his best direction (but the bedroom is not situated in one's good location). Hope it does not sound too confusing. Thank you
  5. I have a porch with 4 square pillars infront of my house. The two middle ones sit about 4 feet away from the main entrance. They are not directly infront of the main door but rather on the left and right hand side of the door. I can see the pillars when I stand at the main entrance (inside looking out). Will these pillars bring shar chi to the house as their sharp corners do point at a 45 degree angle towards the door. If yes, please advise any remedies. (My main door is facing NE, located in the North sector of the house and my kua is 8.) Thanks.
  6. I have a king bed which is custom made (headboard stuck to the wall). When I sleep, my head is pointing to my worst direction (SE). My kua number is 8. I would like to know if I sleep sideway (parallel to headboard) with my head pointing to SW(which is my best direction), will this work without moving the bed or changing the direction of the bed. But this will also mean that I will not have a solid wall supporting me when I sleep. (The wall is about 3 feet away with windows). I also thought of sleeping the other sideway with my head pointing to NE (which is also my good direction), however, this means my bedroom door will be behind me(not directly) and also without solid wall. What is the best option for my sleeping position. Another thing is, my wife's kua number is 1 and her good direction is totally different from mine. What should be the compromise for our sleeping direction? (She does not work right now.) Please reply to me at guitarfive@yahoo.com Thank you.
  7. My main door is facing NE. There is a toilet directly above the door which is not a good thing. Please advise what should I do. My main door is also facing directly the main door of another house directly across the street. Is this harmful? My driveway to the garage (in the South) is occupying the missing SE corner of the house plan. What is the best thing to do so that I can recreate the SE corner? Please reply to my email address at : guitarfive@yahoo.com Thank you.
