Dear cecil and robert, I read about the charts for the flying star in your discussion. I am confused it says the 20 year chart should be considered. what does that mean the chart according to the year build say built in 2 cycle or we should consider the current cycle of 7 please clarify. Secondly the house I live in is 3 story house. I live on 3rd floor. But the entrance for the 2nd and 3rd floor is same on the 2nd f;floor. and the 2nd floor underwent a major reconstruction in 1997. My question is that the chart for my floor remain the same that is the year it was built or it mean change to 1997. Please help. I also wanted to know I have some metal fish, yellow wood fish and blue color crystal fish so all of them will be considered belonging to water because of their shape or can be used as wood, metal and earth element. I also wanted to know they say it is bad fengshui if the doors, toilet, stair, main doors are reflected in the mirror. But whenever I try to hang mirror to broaden a area other door or other stuff is reflected in it. So is it OK or is it bad. What about the reflection of door window and main doors in the glass of picture hang on the stairs to broaden the area. Can you explain how to apply cures. Thanks a lot from somebody who really is confused.

Most people in asian countries consider dragon year to be a very lucky year and since preference is given to boys so to have a child in dragonn year is considered very auspicious. Since they follow chinese astrology and according to chinese year there are some good year and there are some bad year like fire horse year and during this year most of them avoid having any children since they believe that the child born during that year usually results in the death of the parents and that is the reason during that year the birth rate declines in these countries where people strongly believe in chinese astrology.

Dear cecil and robert, I need your advise desperately. I am confused about so many things. Usually when I try to learn something I go all the way. But in case of fengshui I am stuck. It seems to be a vast subject with so many interrelated concepts. On top of that the veil of secrecy. I don't understand all that secrecy surrounding the flying star theory. Imagine what the world will be like if edison and einstein would have decided to keep their theories secret. We the earthling will be still living in darkness. Anyway, I have few questions. I will really appreciate it if you can remove my doubts. 1)I needed to know if using octagonal shaped things like plates, crystals are good or bad. 2) The cures for the flying stars are applied singly. Like it says metal is the cure that means we can just keep a metal coins or statue in that place or we have to change the color, remove all the ceramics and plants and light from that place. eg the area is NW and stars are 4 9 4 3) the cures for a particular area applied in the particular sector of the house or each room. 4)Gardens can be set up anyway or flying star theory is applicable to gardens also. 5)if we buy a house and flying star is applied and changes are made. Then other major changes are made every 20 years or every year, 6) Do a person changes the location of major features like ponds every year or every 20 years. 7)Why do I detect the change immediately. since I am a novice learner. So whenever I try to move things around. Let me give a example whenever I try to move a lamp in a particular location in my bedroom there is loss next day. Either somebody steals something or there is loss in the mail or I loose something or something else. And whenever I sit in that part of my bedroom I seriously get ill. I am hospitalized the same day. I understand that it is bad location and it causes harm. My question is why it happens immediately. Why the affect is instaneous. Its like flipping the coin. Does every body sees the change or some are more attuned compared to others. 8) When you keep things on the desk should they be kept according to flying star or only the location of desk is important. 9) Is the address ending with 4 is good or bad Is 1174 good or bad.

Since fengshui is a brand new concept for most of the people. And it can be a bit confusing since every body is trying to do it themselves and in the process are making mistakes.
