  1. Dear Cecil, Since you will be launching your flying star course early next month, remember to throw in a good promotional launching discount and another big discount for former/current students(I think you should receive my bank draft for your existing fs course and a bazi report by this week...) who have signed up for your existing fs course! You will release course details, won't you? Best of Luck, Cecil! Warmest regards, SL
  2. Hi Cecil, My questions are on Dragon/White Tiger sides of a home: 1)What if the land on the west is higher - does it represent Dragon side? 2)What if the land on the east is lower - does it represent the White Tiger side? 3)Must Dragon always be found in the East and White Tiger in the West? Best regards, SL
  3. Hi Cecil, Is it good feng shui to sit underneath a ceiling air con? I've read books which say if we put some old coins in the air-con duct, the air that come out of it will symbolize 'water'(money) wind. What do you think of that? Best regards, SL
  4. Dear Cecil, To interprete the flying stars well, does one need to be proficient in I Ching? Best regards, SL
  5. Hi Cecil/Robert, When will the flying stars course at your site be launched? I've been waiting for it for quite a while. How about conducting patt chee/ ba zi analysis course as well? Best regards, SL
  6. Hi Cecil, You mean when an area is L shape, it is 'always' optional to superimpose full 9 grids of the feng shui chart to it and declare some corners being missing - or the break the L shape area into 2 wholesome rectangles? Best regards, SL
  7. Dear Cecil, Where can I get good English references on how to read the luo pan? Please recommend some good titles for me. Thank you so much. Best regards, SL
  8. Dear Cecil, 1.What if the company is a listed company, where the MD is another employee and the real owner only sometimes drop by? Should the office be feng shui-ed to suit the ba zi of the MD or the owner? 2.Going by the measurement you have provided/using a feng shui ruler, looks like a 6 feet entrance is no good... But sometimes, it is quite difficult to customise measurement accordingly...alot of the door retailed are mass manufactured and thus standard in size. This brings us to the question, is it necessary to be insistent in implementing feng shui measurement to everything in the office (i.e. windows, tables, room size....)? 3.In what instance does the Luck Qi split? Like if there are 2 doors at the left and right opposite of the main entrance? What if an office has 2 front entrances (one to reception and another to a storage/warehouse area? 4.>The wrong position of Your comment is very interesting. Can you please elaborate? Best regards, SL The office main entrance can still be 3 feet wide. Length (CM) Potent Remarks 0 to 5.4 Good Fortune 5.5 to 10.7 Bad Sickness 10.8 to 16.1 Bad Divorce 16.2 to 21.4 Good Fairness 21.5 to 26.8 Good Promotion 26.9 to 32.1 Bad Theft 32.2 to 37.5 Bad Accident 37.5 to 42.9 Good Origin It is good to keep the main entrance within the favourable dimenons of the multiple of the above. Here, even if the main entrance is can still be of an auspicious dimension. If the MD is the owner, it is very good if the main entrance door direction is favourable to him. 2)Does the signage of the company have to directly face the main entrance of the office? What if the signage is located at the side wall? Is it still acceptable? Ideally, it would be good to have the signage directly above the main entrance (if possible). However, it can still be at the side wall. This is still acceptable. 3)The MD's ba zi has plenty of water element. The reception is located in the south sector. Is it a bad idea to put in an aquarium with colorful guppies as means to brighten up the atmosphere/interior of the reception? Usually, this requires analysis such as the MD's Ba Zi or Ba Zi Feng Shui and other methods such as the Flying Star analysis. The reception counter is another crucial factor in the office. This is because, in some instances, a reception counter at the centre could `split' the `Luck Qi' into two or become divided when it `enters' the main entrance. Feng Shui for the frontage of the office is unike the home. The wrong position of the reception counter could mean `inauspiciousness'. Warmest Regards, Cecil Thank you in advance for your help. Best regards, SL
  9. Hi Cecil, 1)What is the implication of having a mere 3 feet wide door for office main entrance? I was told to have a wide (6-7 feet) main entrance but certain situation doesn't permit this to put into effect. 2)Does the signage of the company have to directly face the main entrance of the office? What if the signage is located at the side wall? Is it still acceptable? 3)The MD's ba zi has plenty of water element. The reception is located in the south sector. Is it a bad idea to put in an aquarium with colorful guppies as means to brighten up the atmosphere/interior of the reception? Thank you in advance for your help. Best regards, SL
  10. Hi Cecil, Recently, my company hired a feng shui master to conduct feng shui audit on our new corporate office. The master uses the direction of the gate to the building as the facing direction for the office lot to calculate 'flying star' on the floor plan. (There are many different companies in the building.) Shouldn't he use the direction of the main entrance to that particular office lot ( standing inside the office main door facing out towards the lift - if the lift faces the office entrance)? Please explain the logic of this feng shui master's method. Thank you. Best regards, SL
  11. Dear Cecil, Yes, I agree with you that the feng shui practice worldwide is very much peppered by each community's cultural/religional belief. My question is what is real feng shui, what is not? How do you separate out the real thing from the made-belief? Warmest regards, SL
  12. Dear Cecil, Thanks for your valuable and enlightening feedback. Can you further elaborate on how Ba Zi can be utilized to improve one's luck? I actually thought, Ba Zi is something you are born with and there is nothing you can do about it. We can never change our heaven luck, can we? However, I have noted that feng shui /earth luck could be harnessed to enhance our overall luck. Do correct me, if I am wrong. Thank you so much. Warmest regards, SL As I can see it; overall; Feng Shui should be seen at a macro level. This is where a city has been Feng Shuied and it should apply to macro Feng Shui at the largest sense. Here, generally, those living within this `city' or many within this city can accumulate wealth. This is where, there is some sort of a Dragon Qi flowing from the interior of the city towards e.g. sea. Usually, along the bank of a river. For example: River Thames..... in England... Although Feng Shui can be applied at a micro level; this is less effective for MOST people. Example of Excellent houses: One where it can siphoned off wealth from neighbouring homes. E.g. a house in the lowest trout of e.g. a Horse shoe shaped housing developmentj. When we talk of `Feng Shui' luck we also `talk' about: 1. Accidents / Misfortune - death 2. Sickness We can be affected by bad Feng Shui and it could result in accidents / misfortune or constant sickness. There are instances of some houses where human beings cannot live in. And to live in such house(s) may result in death. In other situations: if one chopped off the `head' of the house (where the profile of the house looks like it has a head and body): Usually if one chops off the head of the house to rebuilt it e.g. two storey high.. the head of the house becomes too heavy. This may result in the death of the breadwinner. A house with two houses on each side of it and where these two houses (form something like a U shaped) can mean death to both the breadwinner and his/her spouse. Bad Feng Shui can result in accidents or sudden death or sickness. Houses where there is underground courses below e.g. the bedroom area may result in Cancer to the family member living just below this room. 2nd question: Which is more important - residential feng shui or office feng shui? I was told interrelationship feng shui is also important. This is where patt chee analysis comes in. I know of friends who conduct patt chee analysis prior to hiring staff for important management positions. Any comments of this method's authenticity? Yes Feng Shui should be looked at in a holistic way and as far as possible: the home and office should be Feng Shuied. When you mentioned "patt chee " for those who are not aware; it should be also known as Ba Zi or Pillars of Destiny. Some Chinese companies or especially businessmen choose their partners `wisely' and they do look at their Ba Zi and the Ba Zi of their potential partners or even managers. Those they consider not auspicious or in harmony with their Ba Zi is not likely to be hired. 3rd question: You mentioned, those with good patt chee normally have plenty of feng shui luck. It is a pity isn't it, if this feng shui tool can only be utilized by the selected few who are already fortunate. Any creative means to overcome this barrier to spread the wealth around? I always believe that this world has enough wealth to go round - to whom ever is interested enough to strive hard to seek it out. Frankly Ba Zi (Map of one's Heaven's Luck) and Feng Shui can be utilised by many. Not necessarily by selected few. Here, if one is only considering `material' wealth then Feng Shui may not be the ideal choice to follow. This is because as I mentioned earlier: Feng Shui is to look at one's earth luck and the harmony of the home with the earth. Here, Feng Shui can be used effectively to help prevent: accidents / calamity or misfortune and minimise sickness. Many of us feel that Feng Shui MUST be equal to $$$$ (WEALTH). Here, wealth can mean different things. I can live (barely) without savings but have a good family e.g. good wife / children .... So does this not mean WEALTH? Wealth can be subjective and wealth can mean a good wholesome familiy life (perhaps lacking in money). Many of us think that Feng Shui can immediately bring us out of Finacial problems. Another thing Feng Shui can help is to `help us to' be healthy; have a good rest and if we have good positive atitude; we are on a good footing to try and help ourselves. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  13. Hi Cecil, Luck Formula: One third destiny, one third mankind luck, one third feng shui/earth luck. My 1st question : is feng shui that important afterall? If one is destined to do well and one actually strives hard to enhance mankind luck, 2/3 of the war is already won. 2nd question: Which is more important - residential feng shui or office feng shui? I was told interrelationship feng shui is also important. This is where patt chee analysis comes in. I know of friends who conduct patt chee analysis prior to hiring staff for important management positions. Any comments of this method's authenticity? 3rd question: You mentioned, those with good patt chee normally have plenty of feng shui luck. I always believe that this world has enough wealth to go round - to whom ever is interested enough to strive hard to seek it out. Warmest Regards, SL
  14. Dear Cecil, Thanks for your advice. I have checked out that my Yang Wood over Yang Metal luck pillar falls under the autumn period. Can I interprete it as: 1) metal is reasonably strong in autumn as it is supported by plenty of earth. 2) in autumn, wood is wilters, as a result, the Yang Wood is actually weak wood (i.e. weak competitors - is two wood of the same category friends or foe?) As such, my above Luck Pillar is actually favourable for me. My next question is what if Yin Wood and Yin Metal Luck pillar come into play? Will my luck improve or turn bad? What if I have a mix luck pillar i.e. Yang Fire(good/neutral element) over Yang Water(bad element)? Will the bad one extinguish the good one or will I run a first 5 years of good luck and later 5 years of back luck? Cecil, I also read your comment on Quantum Leap in Feng Shui with great interest. What can I do to achieve a Quantum Leap in feng shui? Or is it only within the rich of the extremely privilege (i.e. the already lucky ones?)Can I actually find myself a piece of auspicious land, and build my house on it and have my front door faces my best direction? Will this do the trick? Warmest regards, SL Under the Luck Pillars: Heavenly Stem: Combination join and new element clashes and ten deities are exampined together. Earthly Branch: Three combination directional / two combination new element clashes, harm, punhisment, self puunishment, romance star, movement star, nobelman star, academic satr, arts star ; hidden element, ten dieities, hidden element 2, ten deities 2 ... are looked at to look at the overall result to determine if that luck period is auspicious or requires prevention. This is looked at in relation to the period this seaons falls under. The above will then give a true picture of one's Luck pillars. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  15. 1)Discovered that one of my best sector is southwest. But if I were to reside in this sector,I will have my head face the direction of the entrance to my room, although I will sleep on the left side from the door. Should I shift my bed to this sector of my room. 2)Let's say I'd decided to tap on my best direction which is NorthWest, I will have to place my bed 45 degrees against the walls. That would leave an empty triangle at the back of my bed. Is this advisable? 3)I have a toilet residing beside the entrance of the main door in my apartment. The toilet is residing in the South, which represent fire element, my best element. What should I do to fix this problem? 4)If I discover my main door is not facing my best direction, should I realign the door, say a slight 15 degrees to tap on my best direction? Which is more important - tapping on main door direction or sector? Thank you so much. Regards, S
  16. I found out that I am strong Yang Wood born in spring. I have plenty of wood and water elements, so these are not favourable to me.Will earth, metal be good for me? I know for sure fire is my best element. Let's say my luck pillar has a yang wood in the heavenly stem and yang metal in the earthly branch, how is my luck going to turn out? If it is bad, what are the remedies? Thank you. Regards, S
