  1. Hi Mr. Lee, Good morning. I have a question with regards to Feng Shui in the living hall. My renovation contractor proposed that I place a mirror behind the installed wall mounted TV set so that it will reflect the opposite wall where I will be placing my sofa. Renovation contractor said by placing a mirror behind the installed wall mounted TV set and it reflect the opposite wall where I will be placing my sofa, it will make an impression that the whole living hall is spacious. It is good Feng Shui to place a mirror behind the installed wall mounted TV set? Your kind advise is most appreciated. Thanks. But falls under beliefs. Elephants are revered in several cultures especially in India and Thailand. In Thailand, white elephants (if found and authenticated); the owners were richly rewarded and will come under the Royal patronage. There were some cases where grey elephants were found, later to be "white". Anyway, elephants are revered for their strength and intelligence. And also are social animals. Thus, it is a good omen for your brother given also that elephants (in general) = longevity, strong and smart. A good hallmark for his coming newborn son. 4. Hello Mr. Lee, Good morning. My brother told me that he dreamt of riding on a grey elephant on the road heading nowhere...not long after his dream, his wife is pregnant... and recently scanned that his wife is carrying a baby boy..his wife is into 5 months pregnancy. My brother asked me whether he dreamt of riding on a grey elephant on the road heading nowhere, is it a good sign? Do you know this can be connected to Feng Shui? Any meaning on this dream? Thanks. 7. Hello Mr. Lee, Theirs are mini water tank. And the water tank is full of water. Their mini prawns' size like abt 0.6cm.. But we don't know the life span... but I heard that they need to change water and also to clean the algae.. One of my colleague said that in Feng Shui, it is not so good to rear mini prawns because in Hokkien, it is pronounce as "Hei" and meaning similar to "death" or no good omen... Is it correct for this saying? Regards, Thanks. For example, if the location is identified to be a "water wealth location"; a fish tank is full of water. And how much weight or volume those mini prawns are? 9. Hello Mr. Lee, I have a daughter. She is now 13 years old. Over the years, she is not so polite talking to us, my husband and myself. However especially this year, her behaviors is getting out of control in terms of talking manner, studies manner (getting bad results, lazy not wanting to explore more and slow in pace) and even hygiene aspect. Our bed room is now facing her bed room. In Feng Shui, is there any side effect that our bed room is directly facing opposite her bed room? As for her studies, in feng shui, is there any remedy that can improve in this aspect? Your advice is most appreciated. Regards, Christine
  10. Hello Mr. Lee, Thanks for your reply. Can advice why is particularly bad to reflect the staircase? What will be the bad things that will happen? Instead of installing a day curtain at the window, can we use some nice printed mirror papers to paste the mirror instead so that it will not reflect the dining table as well as reflect the opposite staircase? Kindly advice. Thank you. The segmented pieces of mirror is acceptable. 2. If you do not want to dismantle the mirror, is there any possibility of installing a day curtain at the window facing the mirror? If so, this is the best solution - if the curtain is pulled down all the time? Alternatively, installing a blind or draw-down roller blind in another alternative. Otherwise, yes it is particularly bad to reflect the staircase. 11. Hello Master Cecil Lee, My Enquiries: Is there any remedy for the below-mentioned situation? At my dinning hall, we have one long length mirror (make up of few medium pieces mirror) reflecting our dinning table. One of my relative told me that mirror facing dinning table is o.k. but with our current location, is not good for our wealth luck. My situation is: This mirror reflects our dinning table. But at the same time, reflects the window cos. in front of my dinning table, there is a drop down window. And from the window, we can see opposite flat's staircase. Hence, the mirror reflects the drop down window and as well as opp. flat staircase. Hence is there any remedy to it without having to dismantle the mirror. Your precious advice to the above-mentioned matter is greatly appreciated. Thanks. 12. Hello Mr. Cecil Lee, Recently my China friend has bought me an oil painting base on 9 black koil/crap, swimming in clusters with yellow back ground. It's kind of him to give me the painting as a gift but for Chinese culture, we always believe that Black is in auspicious. Can you advice whether the painting of 9 black koil/craps are inauspicious? How is Koil/Crap being useful in feng shui? In feng shui, any specific colours of the koil/crap will contribute to wealth/fortune of a house? One colleague told me that if we can find a painting on "Li Yu Tiao Long Men" - consist of 9 Koil/Crap and 2 Koil/Craps jumps over a dragon gate, then will be very auspicious to be hang in the living room, is it true? And where to find this kind of painting in Singapore? Yr prompt advice will be much appreciated. Thanks a lot. 13. Hello Master Lee, This question is being asked on behalf of my sister-in-law. Recently a customer of hers bought a dragon tortoise, made of some expensive fiber plastic (which has been ?Kai Guang?) as a gift to her for house warming. Her customer told her that the dragon tortoise should sit facing the main door and should be place into a nice glass bowl with some water in it and lots of ancient Chinese coins or real coins. My sister-in-law did not like the idea having to put water in the bowl as she explained that it might lead to breeding of mosquitoes. Hence, she is asking any remedy to replace water with something else? She also asking must the dragon tortoise being place facing the main door? What are the benefits of placing the dragon tortoise facing the main door? Can it be place somewhere else? What other accessories can be placed in the bowl other than putting ancient Chinese coins? Please advice. Thanks. Warmest Regards, Christina
  14. Hello Master Lee, Recently I?ve bought a Sailing Ship from China Town as advice by my colleagues. Some of my colleagues study feng shui. But not in ddep study, very basic knowledge. They told me that if I want to increase my wealth sector, ask me to buy a Sailing ship and place it facing the main door. One colleague told me that the sailing ship should be facing outwards to the main door. But another colleague telling me that I must position the ship in such a way that it is sailing inwards and into my house facing the main door. He also added that I must not leave the ship empty and need to put a lot of ancient Chinese Coins and many gold ingots in the ship. Making it as if the ship sails in with a lot of money. I?m confused with what my colleagues has advised. Can you advice me on the correct way of putting the sailing ship? It is o.k. to face the main door with the sailing ship positioning sailing into my house? What is the reason behind to display ship? Your reply is much appreciated. Thanks. Warmest Regards, Christina
  15. Hello Master Lee, As mentioned below, you highlighted that the Mirror shouldn't be facing a window. Currently at my dinning hall there is a stretch of mirror and it is facing the window. Is there any remedy for this situation without having to dismantle it? And another matter is installing cut pieces of two identical pieces of mirror. Apparently we also have 1 whole stretch of cut pieces of two identical pieces of mirror being install in the dinning hall, (The mirror which I've mentioned earlier facing dinning table & also facing table) which you have mentioned is not auspicious. Is there also any remedy for this? Pls. help! Your precious advice is greatly appreciated. Warmest Regards, Christina -----Original Message----- From: free-advice Listmanager [mailto:free-advice.listmanager@forum.geomancy.net] Sent: None To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed Subject: Mirror in dining area From: Cecil Lee Dear Anon, In general, without a FS assessment: 1. Mirror should not face an open window or the balcony area. As wealth can be reflected out of the house 2. Many Cantonese (Chinese dialect group) love to have a mirror facing the dining area. As they feel that it would bounce off twice the amount of "food" on the table. 3. For those who stay in a high rise; and if the wall is particularly long, sometimes, the contractor would arrange for cut pieces of mirror to be sent up to your home for installation. If so, avoid, installing two identical pieces of mirror. This is because, if installed, and if one stands at the centre of the mirror, one can look at a "split" in the exact middle which is considered not auspicious. If the contractor cannot really assemble one full piece of glass; then as a last resort go for three pieces i.e. the biggest piece in the middle while the other two equal sized pieces on each side of the large piece. http://www.geomancy.net/wbimages/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif Warmest Regards, Cecil You opted to receive messages posted from our My Adviser Forum (http://myadviser.geomancy.net) when you last visited it. 16. Dear Master Lee: I am living in a 5 room flat. We have two bath rooms in our house. One is near the dinning hall & the other is in our Master bed room. My queries are pertaining to the bath room near the dinning hall. 1) The design is that this outside bath room has got two opening folding doors which allow us to walk thru' from service balcony to the long corridor leading to the master bed room & vis versa. Whenever we need to use this bath room, we need to close both sides of the door. My question is: I've heard from my relative that this two opening (folded door) will lead to a hazard to our marriage life either led to divorce situation. Is this true? If true, how to remedy it. 2) This bath room is also considering located at the center of the house. I've read from your feng shui web site that it is a bad feng shui if bath room/toilet is located in the center of one house. Any remedy? 3) We have to close one side of the folded door (the one nearer to the dinning hall & leading to the corridor which led to my master bed room) in order to cover the unsightly of the toilet bowl when ever we have our dinner at the dinning table. What's the bad feng shui impact if the door is not closed and we can see the toilet bowl? 4) We have been staying in this house for about 7 years already. So far there isn't good money luck i.e. strike lottery or happy occasions since we have moved in to this house. Wondering whether if this bath room causes the bad feng shui, what is the most suitable remedy other than to seal up one of the folded door. 5) My daughter is often sick. Wondering whether this has also got to do with the bad feng shui of this bath room/toilet. 6) I notice that both my husband & myself have several quarrels too over some minor things. Wonder this has also got to do with the bad feng shui. 7) Since I've moved in to this house, I've not been able to conceive through 3 - 4 years of attempts. Your advice is appreciated. Christina
  17. Hello Master Cecil, I've read the reply from you to user Anon earlier on with regards to bedroom feng shui. My case, I'm sleeping in a room with my daughter. She is sleeping on a double deck bed. Her bed is parked against a wall with a her sleeping position facing the window and her legs when sleeping, facing a cupboard. For me, I'm sleeping on a third slide floor mattress. My slide floor mattress is parked against a wall but for my sleeping position, my back head is facing a door (door is closed at night) and my legs are facing the window. May I ask, whether this is bad sleeping direction for me? How about my daughter, is her sleep position good/bad for her? My room shape left me with no choice that I need to sleep in this unfavorable position. Any remedy for my sleeping position? I've read before that if one sleeps without headboard, there will be no support for the person. Can you explain what kind of support that they are referring to in feng shui? I've also read that according to feng shui, if one children's room is placed opposite the parents' room, the children/child will tend to be logger heads/very in a not good relationship with parents. May I ask is it true? For me, seems like quite true, my seven years old daughter tends to be logger head with me, she seldom listens to me and she tends to make me angry. Any remedy to enhance our relationship? But my husband is sleeping in the master bed room right opposite facing my daughter's room. But my daughter likes my husband a lot, this doesn't quite tally with my earlier saying. Hmmmmm, I'm confused. Thank you. Regards, Christina :)
  18. Hi Cecil, Good morning. Would like to seek some advice on the following issues: 1) House number: Sty #05 and Unit number 314. Hence when read together, it appear to be 5314. In Cantonese, the essence read turns out to be bad meaning. Pls. advice whether is there a remedy to enhance it. I also suspect that my present infertility condition may be due to the bad meaning of the unit number. 2) I was told by some of the colleagues that wedding photo should not place on top of the bed head board. This will cause conflict & argument with the spouse/partner. Is it true? 3) Is there any feng shui tips/object that could be placed in my bedroom to enhance the chances of having to conceive. 4) Since I've moved into this present house, both myself & husband do not have any money luck in terms of strike lottery etc. Seems like a lot of times, things don't work out smoothly. Quite frequent arguments & conflicts. Pls. advice what can be done or any remedy to decrease the bad argument & to increase our money luck. I thought of placing a pot of ancient money (Chinese money) place in porcelain pot in my living hall to increase the money luck, will that do? Thanks a lot Pauline :)

The window is facing opp. the toilet. Horizontally, I've placed my dress cardboard and opp. the dress =cardboard is our sleeping King Size Bed. That's where we placed our Wedding photo =and there is a beam on top the photo & head of the bed. Right now the =bed is slightly slant a bit facing the entrance door (not directly facing =entrance door). I've thought of changing the bed =position, the only position that I can think of is shifting the bed to beside the =window. But my bed set is quite huge, it might extend to slightly under a =window. I think sleep under a window is also not a good position, isn't =it. Seems like I've no choice but to still =sleep under the beam, could you pls. advise whether any remedy to be done to that beam. I also suspect that the beam makes both =my husband & myself sick often now & then. We've been sleeping under =the beam for the past 6 years. (Our daughter is 6 years old already). =Our health seems like declining, not really in pink health. Don't know =whether is it cause by the beam. One more question: about =infertility issue. I've been planning to have my second =child since 2 years ago. Ever since when I've move in to my presence house, both =of us have been trying very hard for the 2nd child. But till now, no =good news of me getting conceive. Last month I've went to see my doctor =and had a minor operation to increase my chance of having a baby. I =have still no confidence on conceiving after the operation. Could U =please advise what kind of auspicious thing that I can place in my bedroom or surrounding house in order to increase the chance of having conceive. Thanks a lot. Rdgs. 20. Hi Cecil, I heard one of my friend was saying that according to feng shui, if we =want to create good luck & ample food, we will have to double up a =mirror to reflect on the dining table & put some fruits accessories on =the table either it's real or dummies. The mirror would actually =reflect on the table & make double image. For my house, just behind my dining table, there is a window. And just =opposite the dining table (a distance) there is a wall. Can I put my =mirror on that piece of wall to reflect on the table and if the mirror =reflect the dining table, it also reflect the window. Pls. advise is it alright to do it that way. Thanks. Christina

  23. Hi Cecil, Could U pls advise how to improve on one's home luck in terms of having =to strike 4D for our i.e. house unit numbers, car number, telephone =numbers etc. Since we have been staying in our present house for coming =to 6 years, there is no chance that we ever strike 4D before. I would like to know how to improve by using feng shui tips etc. Our =house door face South. Our Chinese god - Tao Bai Kong, is sitting (face =- face North & back - face South). In geomantary, I suppose this =sitting position is perfectly right. What went wrong . Rdgs. Best Wishes. Christina :)
