  1. Hello, Robert. I would like to know what you would make of wedding or eventplanning relocation specialist helping with international adaptation to a country military policy writing location scouting for movies to be in terms of elements. I want to choose the closest to metal and earth as possible. Thank you.
  2. Dear Cecil, I have been jobless for over a year and am desperate. I'm a yang wood monkey born on a monkey day and with fire and metal as my weakest elements. I have been following your last discussion and am wondering if I should be paying more attention to my bazi chart. I hope you can give me the guidance I need. You always say that one can take advatnage of one;s wealth element if one is yang and has dominated their lucky elements. how do i knowwhen I have incorporated sufficient beneficial things to use my wealth element?. I always said i would open a restaurant when /if i was rich-that's earth, right? My professional hisrtoy is very complex: I did a Bachelors in Mass communications, then a masters in INternational relations, then worked in marketing, but got laid off a few years ago so lost faith in that field and chose to go into a more creative branch. I recently graduated from interior design but haven;t had any luck finding cleints or deciding which area of design i should go into or specialize in. Do you have any idea? Should i be concentrating on the commercial, residential or event decoration? I am having a hard time deciding what to do becasue I feel like I can do so many things, but don;t know which would give me success. In fact, i've also been talking to a friend abt starting a relocation services business for foreigners(help them find housing, school, advice them on travel, etc) but am not sure about what element that would be. PLus, I have always dreamt of tv production-but thought that since it was a wood career, I should stay clear of it. I even had an interview in Naval intelligence. I would hate to get it and then find that becasue it's water, I'd be going agaisnt my own interest! So, in your opinion, should I go for a profession I like, find challenging or am good at? Would appreciate your kind help. Thanks. Analia
  3. Dear mr lee: when u write taht" Location in Conflict is East. - Avoid having renovations done opposite the location in conlict." IS that like saying the west??
  4. This is a multi-part message in MIME format. in this discussion, you mentioned that the general cure for a bad earth star is metal. I understand why, however, according to the destructive cycle, wouldn't wood be a more efficient cure for earth? Thanks for your answer. Lia
  5. In the last email, u wrote that ba zi element is not enough, but one has to take into account the time period. Does that mean that every year one should reaudit the house and see if there are ne=w problems to solve? ie. how long will the salt in the glass work for the boy who was sick?
  6. Hi, cecil. I was reading as you recommended, the email about the sterling condo. There's talk of the double 7s and thehy are good. What is this exactly? You also mention the lift well being a negative thing if close tot the door. Why is that? Thanks Analia
  7. Hi, Cecil. Thank you for your answer. I believe, though, that the way I described the screen was ambiguous. I meant hat the vertices of the panels of the screen were pointing at the dingin table where we sit. Do you see what I mean? \/\/\/\/\screen ____ |____|table I also wanted to ask you: sometimes, blue is said to be wood and sometimes, water. Sometimes, brown is said to be wood and toerhs earth. Which is it? I read that water fourntians in the center of a home can be harmful becasue it drains away qi. SI this true? My final question: There's a building in Hong kong that sits on a hill and has a big square hole through the center of it. It looks like this from the front ________ | _ | | |_| | |hole| |_______| they said it was for qi to pass through it better. is this right? Sorry for being so curious. -----Original Message----- From: free-advice Listmanager [mailto:listmanager@forum.geomancy.net] Sent: Thursday, August 01, 2002 11:41 PM To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed Subject: roof and other questions From: "Cecil Lee" Dear Analia, Please see below:- Most importantly, roofs should be symmetrical. Or both `left and right' sides should be balanced. Equally important is the shape. The best shape is still `an Up' outline e.g.:- ^ / \ / \ | | If the front of the house looks like the above with pointed arrow facing other houses, much the better to this occupant. Many people are more concern with their homes than others. And, although it may not be favourable to the neighour (if their main door happends to be directly facing this `arrow' sha qi. Flat roofs are usually not preferred for homes especially in the equator. As hot air cannot rise up adequately. And if there is no insulation, direct sunlight can heat up the roof. Many of the homes built in the Far East, has a Ba Gua shaped balcony or family room area especially at the South (fire sector). And some of these have their toilets at the North (water) position. An example is `The Meyer Place' condo. Do a search in the forum for more details of this development. Usually, leaf edges are not a real threat. The real threat is usually thru the tree trunk (not covered with leaves). Have to really see it before, I can fully comment on it. But in doubt, no harm to screen it out. It is best to use Pillars of Destiny (Ba Zi) in such a situation. Especially if there are two or more persons e.g. a couple sleeping in the bedroom. Professional level Pillars of Destiny does not only take into consideration the Year of birth but much more than that to determine your actual element and strength. Only after finding it out and looking at the `binding' element of both e.g. husband and wife can then proper elements e.g. colour scheme be taken into consideration. We offer free service on this. And if you have a layout plan, can either, fax to us, e-mail us a scanned image. Or simply attach a scanned image to this forum (message). And I can help to determine the centrepoint for you. Frankly, proper and sensible food intake. And most important - will power and determination -> to gradually loose weight over a period. Many times, most of us, try to do it at `one go' and later put on more weight instead. Many quick `fix' programmes may not be appropriate as some let you lose `water content' rather than sensible weight. Sometimes, too drastic a program may lead to health problems or lack of minerals/vitamins. Warmest Regards, Cecil Copyright 1996-2002 Geomancy Network, http://MyAdviser.Geomancy.Net. 8. Hi. I was wondering if there's a style of roof that is most suitable from the Feng Shui perspective-- straight flat top, chalet , tile, triangleetc.-- and whether the pagoda architecture with its many spikes is a sha roof. speaking of sha, I have a large screen against the wall that has the leaf edges pointing directly to the dining table. is this a poison arrow? Also, i am curious to know if one should consider form-ying/yang-color-shape-location in that order when classifying a room or thing. And if it's a person one is considering, should one base an analysis on their birthday element or their year element, since these may be destructive between them. ie. the birth element is yang fire but the year is metal. I was trying to find the center of the apartment I live in, but it's very irregular and disjointed. What do i do? can i draw a large rectangle over the entire plan and do the diagonals that way? Lastly, i want to lose weight. is there a fix for that? I'd apprecaite your response. thanks Lia
