Jacq
Hi Master Cecil, I and my partner are thinking of getting a condo in which the location is convenient and the unit is on a high floor. However, viewing from the balcony down, we are able to see the top roof of the Burmese temple in full view. from the 1st floor we are not able to see the temple directly but just concerned if it might be bad for Feng shui aside from it not being the best to resell in future? Staff Cecil Lee Posted 26 minutes ago Staff Share Posted 26 minutes ago Common sense vs Stigmas vs Taboos? Common sense is practical knowledge or reasoning that most people use to make everyday decisions. It’s based on general experience and logical thinking about what is safe, sensible, or effective. Stigmas are negative labels or judgments that society places on certain behaviors, conditions, or situations. They create shame or social rejection for people associated with those things, discouraging open discussion or acceptance. Taboos are strong cultural or religious prohibitions against specific actions or topics. Taboos are considered unacceptable or forbidden, and violating them often triggers strong emotional reactions or social penalties. In short, common sense helps us make good decisions, while stigmas and taboos are social pressures that shape what people think is acceptable or unacceptable.
