Correct location for an altar in the home

Hello Master,

How are you?can you pls.do me a favour....i just want to ask,where is the correct place of my husband father or ancestral tablet altar?because now we put in the living room facing infront of the main door and beside our master bedroom door.Master ,can pls.advise me ...what is the correct place of his father or ancestral tablet altar?
