myfs_147597
We have a short sloping driveway to get into our garage. The short driveway slopes down away from the house and has a sewer drain directly at the base of the driveway. The drive way is in the north of our home. Our front door is on the other side of our house facing south. We have had extreme poor wealth and health since moving into this house 3 years ago and have always applied Feng Shui principles to home and work spaces to remedy our life situations. Is our driveway with sewer a main concern? Could this be our problem? What cure can we use to fix this? Thank you so much for your advise ! I am extremely concerned
Staff Cecil Lee Posted December 23, 2010 Staff Share Posted December 23, 2010 Frankly, it is truly difficult to say just based on your statements.Do check whether the sewerage pipe (if running under the house is not belowa bedroom and especially running belowa bed or close to it. As this has been known to cause health issues, also. The sewage pipe running in the front of the home may or may not pose a problem as unable to tell from your statements. myfs_147597
Thank you so much Cecil, for taking the time toanswer my question! Luckily all four family members have been able tomaintain health, now that we have made sure to activate our east areaswith lush healthy plants. Now my main concern is our wealth. Irecently read in our feng shui books that sewer drains resemble loss ofwealth, and driveways that slope away from the home resemble loss ofwealth. Our home has both, a sloping driveway and a large sewerdrain at the end of the driveway. Is this driveway/ sewer combinationbad Feng Shui? Are there any Feng Shui cures or fixes if it is bad? Iwill try to attach pictures of the driveway for better clarification,
Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 7, 2011 Staff Share Posted January 7, 2011 Other considerations can be found at this link: http://forum.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-under.htm For example, it is never advisable to place a bed directly above a sewerage pipe. Thank you for sharing your picture. Honestly, in an ideal world, there wouldn’t be any sewer pipes, junctions, or manholes at all. However, in reality, especially in Singapore and many other countries, sewer manholes are often located at the front or back of the home. We have no choice, as these are determined by the developer. It would, of course, be better if they ran behind the home. In practice, please check how the sewerage pipe runs into your home. Ideally, it should not run beneath areas where someone may be lying down, such as the living room floor or a guest room on the ground level. Otherwise, no matter how much you wish or pray, the manhole cover won’t disappear. Even the “I Dream of Jeannie” genie would say, “Sorry … too bad … NEXT …” Quote On 1/7/2011 8:59:03 AM, Anonymous wrote: Thank you so much Cecil, for taking the time to answer my question! Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 28, 2024 Staff Share Posted January 28, 2024 Okay, this manhole located in Katong, Singapore is not for sewerage. Its rather unusual shape is actually intended for utility or telecoms use. It is found in an old estate. It must be at least 60 years old, as such unique and uncommon solid iron cast pieces are no longer seen today.
