Part 1: Feng Shui of Forestville EC @ Woodlands

1. Did you rely on the Forestville EC's Sales Brochure "North" compassmarking on the Site plan to buy your dream home in this development?

1.1. If so, look at the comparison of the Sales Brochure siteplan with that of streetdirectoy.com

1.2. All streetdirectories (paper or web-based) have the True North direction at the TOP.

2. For example : In the sales brochure, Blocks 20 to 28 with Stacks #01 to #20 when compared to it's North compass marking shows True North at 0/360 degrees.

2.1 Under Flying Stars one could assume that these stacks are North 2 (N2) or South 2 (S2) facing directions.

3. Next, take a look at the sitemap of Streetdirectory.com.

3.1. Based on the readings taken from Streetdirectory.com; Blocks 20 to 28 with Stacks#01 to #20 are instead NW3 or SE3 facing directions.

3.2. Thus what was suppose to be East Group facing directions of N2 or S2 has now become NW3 and SE3 respectively. NW3 belongs more the the West group person.

4. Which should I rely on? Clue: Streetdirectory.com or after TOP onemap.sg 's map profile.

5. In the most recent past; I found Hillvista's sales brochure site map's North marking also to be wrong.

Part 2: Feng Shui of Forestville EC @ Woodlands

1. As mentioned under Part 1: In my opinion, one should not use the North compass bearing of the Sales Brochure of Forestville EC.

2. Instead, at the moment use the streetdirectory.com to determine the Facing direction. Or later on when TOP; can consider checking the directions from onemap.sg which uses the government survey map data.

3. Based on Streetdirectory.com map: I have found that Forestville EC has stacks facing generally three SETs of Flying star directions:-

a. NW3 OR SE3 FACING = STACKS 01 TO 20

b. N2 OR S2 FACING = Stacks 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 46

c. E2 OR W2 FACING = Stacks 30 & 48

Hope the above helps (as a starting point) if you are trying to apply DIY Flying Stars.

Part 3: Feng S3hui of Forestville EC @ Woodlands

 

1. Stacks Facing N2 0/360 degrees

2. Enclosed is a sample illustration of a worked Flying Star chart N2 0/360 degrees.

3. In the attached illustration:

3.1. One can see that the double auspicious #8's current prosperity wealth is WASTED at the rear of the home.

3.2. East sector has bad Flying Star numbers of #5 misfortune/sickness #2 sickness stars. Which is a health concern.

3.3. Equally bad in the North West sector. Which also have nasty flying stars of #2 sickness and #5 misfortune/sickness stars

4. Another sector which can be wasted is at SW which has good Flying Stars.

5. Please note that the above illustration came from a worked case for Waterwoods EC.

6. One may need to mirror the layout to the above illustration.

Yes. But the actual test is to stand inside such units to determine- if is is or not.

Hardest to cure if such a poison arrow is aimed towards an opening such as the balcony/living room.

If it is aimed towards a wall, then no issue.

Is the Sales Brochure Useful?

Introduction: For brand new just launched developments, there is no physical site to visit the completed buildings and apartments. 

1. The only thing we can do is to visit the show room (which often is close-by to the site) as well as obtain a sales brochure and see the mock-up of the development. As well as try to ask questions from the sales agent (if any).

1.1. We must still try to gather as much information as we can.

3. It is always an excellent idea to spent some time to scrutinise a prospective sales brochure of our potential buy (purchase).

4. Recently, more and more clients have discovered to their shock (horror) that the least expected was the location of the central rubbish bin outside their unit.

5. A year ago; many had purchased a premium unit within the development .. and later shocked to learn that the central rubbish chute (for their entire floor) is just next to their main door!

6. Thus the morale of the story is to check first before signing on the dotted line.

7. In general, most developments have these:-

8.1. A central rubbish collection centre / rubbish bin collection point

8.2. Power Sub-station. Every development usually has one or more of these depending on the size of the development.

8.3. Design of club-house roof-lines / trellis / gazebo / pavilion. Are the designs a "threat" e.g. with spikes or like a razor's edge? Usually these are aimed towards lower storeys.

8.4. Any poison arrows in the form of a sharp corner of another block of neighbouring stack aimed towards one's balcony (hard to cure) or towards one's windows (if any)

8.5. Location of areas like BBQ pits and any impact e.g. the smell from these pits towards a unit.. especially low storeys such as #01  or #02 first or second storeys

8.6. Any tree trunk aimed towards a lower unit e.g. #01 or #02. Unfortunately it may be too late; especially if the development is under construction.

9. There are lots more considerations...  

9.1. Do remember "Read in-between" the lines..
