Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 28, 2016 Staff Share Posted May 28, 2016 Question: Master, is such a bed acceptable for use from Fengshui perspective? Btw, I do like the design. Where is this shop located? Many thanks. In my opinion, this comes under Symbolism. This is where the saying "One man's meat is another man's poison" comes into play. Another viewpoint is the impact of immediate family and friends. For instance, some of us host guests in our homes. What if three out of four of them dislike this design? Consider if a relative were to comment, "Why are you using a bed-head design that resembles a coffin?" Responses can vary; some individuals may dismiss the remarks, while others may feel anxious. In fact, one of my clients shared this photo with me, expressing concern about its acceptability in Feng Shui. (I am unsure of the shop's location, as I merely intended to showcase this unconventional design.) Many elements of Feng Shui relate to either common sense or, as previously mentioned, to symbolic significance.
