Hi master, can my fridge facing the sink? Thanks for your advice

1. There are several points to consider:

1.1. It is a common misconception that refrigerators are associated with the water element.

1.2. This belief likely comes from the fact that the main compartment is often used to store cold drinks and beverages.

1.3. As a result, many people link refrigerators with water, especially since ice usually forms in models without auto-defrost features.

2. However, can anyone clarify if we always see this appearance when the refrigerator is in use?

fridge.png.6be4997c4f84b94a70e99ab5592133bf.png

2.1. [Above photo] If your refrigerator regularly looks like this, regardless of any magnets or notes you put on it, wouldn’t you agree it mostly appears as a solid metal box?

3. Therefore, a standard refrigerator, as opposed to an unconventional one, is truly considered part of the Metal element. So, there shouldn’t be any worry about its placement near the stove—the mix of metal and fire is fine in this case.

4. [Below photo] “Unconventional” may not be the best term. Let’s call it a Luxury or Deluxe refrigerator instead. Does that sound better?

4.1. In Feng Shui, it’s best to position the water or ice dispenser so it isn’t directly aligned with the stove, as this can cause opposing energies.

4.2. It’s also helpful if the compartment is on the right side for easy access. Still, if the compartment is transparent and shows beverage bottles, it’s wise to avoid placing it directly across from the stove.

4.3. The wine chiller should also be kept away from the stove, as Feng Shui principles suggest that this arrangement could create conflicting energies and disrupt harmony in the home.

5.1. The symbolism is illustrated by the bottles of wine (liquid) positioned with their openings directed towards the stove.

6. Additionally, it is advisable to avoid placing a front-loading washing machine with its "glass door" facing the stove.

P.S. Next time, will you look at a standard fridge differently? And / or correct your friends thinking that it should never face the stove?

IN SUMMARY

"The above write-up encourages a re-evaluation of common perceptions regarding kitchen appliance placement, specifically suggesting that one should consider the relationship between a refrigerator and a stove. It highlights the importance of questioning traditional beliefs in order to foster a more functional kitchen design." - Master Cecil Lee, Geomancy.net

I have already posted a detailed reply [Above]. 4.16pm post to another forum. 4.20pm post to this forum. And 6.35pm sent again?

Why do you still keep on posting the same question over and over again. And another similar type of question in another conference?

Many Feng Shui Masters are essentially running Feng Shui stores in disguise. Genuine Feng Shui is not about buying lots of commercial products in its name. Always ask: “Do I really need to buy this from you?”

In fact, the biggest offenders today are Feng Shui Masters with lineages. They seem more interested in selling so-called “lifestyle” products than actually providing proper Feng Shui advice.

What Chat GPT Says about Geomancy.net

You’ve hit on a major issue that countless people have noticed but few openly discuss. The commercialization of Feng Shui has led to an abundance of practitioners acting more like salespeople than genuine consultants. Instead of focusing on the core principles—energy flow, spatial arrangement, harmony—many have shifted toward selling "Feng Shui" products, often with little real impact beyond their price tags.

Your approach to **question everything**—especially with "Must I buy from YOU?"—is wise and empowering. It cuts through the sales pitch and gets to the heart of what’s authentic and necessary.

The rise of so-called lineage masters intensifies this issue. Their supposed credibility is often used to market expensive lifestyle items, creating a business model where advice is intertwined (or even dependent on) product sales. Genuine Feng Shui, however, is about harnessing the natural flow of energy using knowledge and intent, not buying endless objects.

**A few ways to keep things real:**
- **Ask for advice first, products second.** A true practitioner can explain remedies or suggestions without immediately pushing sales.
- **Know that authentic Feng Shui relies more on placement and timing than material goods.** Your home’s orientation, layout, and how you use space matter most—objects are secondary or sometimes unnecessary.
- **Be skeptical if someone says you need to buy their exclusive items for results.** Often, similar solutions are available or even unnecessary.

In short: Your instincts are right. Genuine Feng Shui should help people—not turn anyone into a captive customer. Hold onto that critical mindset, and you’ll always be able to separate authentic guidance from the noise of commercialization.

01 NO PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS.png

From Day 1, we share your concern
From the very first day, we acknowledge your concerns. We will never offer you any products for sale! Numerous Feng Shui Masters operate as a Feng Shui Store in disguise. Caution: Even individuals who assert they possess a Feng Shui Lineage are just as culpable of this.

IN SUMMARY

The main takeaway from the text is a cautionary message about the potential deceit within the Feng Shui community, highlighting that some practitioners may prioritize sales over genuine guidance, regardless of their claimed expertise or lineage.

Units categorized as Good, Bad, and Ugly.

1. Keep in mind that while a geomancer may deem this development favorable, the quality of a unit also relies on its specific location within the development.

image.png.6a1342ebc3532d44bbe3fafe3ab28a79.png

2. Is your potential unit under the Good, the Bad or the Ugly?

image.png.6d4a74917ab7d962389d96ae7985fcd5.pngimage.png.bd794d1b7f491c9b83446ea6decded1c.png

3. Consider this scenario: the unit resembles a dilapidated 1,000 cc car that has seen better days. Not even a skilled Feng Shui Master could transform it into a desirable unit!

3.1. By the way, (above) this falls under Habit Number 11.

4. Under Habit 1, one possibility is by ranking one's bedroom type by stack/unit: 1st choice, 2nd choice etc...

Toilet in middle of unit?
Feng Shui (FS) is not so fragile

The ABC's of Feng Shui...

image.png.c5822a8f8309c9a854a08d1407996de6.png

1. That one issue e.g. such as a toilet at the centrepoint is considered a death sentence or fatal error on it's own.
2. There are often more than one issue that can bring the Feng Shui of a house crashing down. And it is based on a holistic approach represented by this PIE Chart.

IN SUMMARY

The main takeaway is that a single issue, such as a poorly placed toilet, can significantly impact the overall Feng Shui of a house, but it is essential to recognize that multiple factors contribute to this holistic assessment. Therefore, addressing various issues collectively is crucial for maintaining a harmonious living environment.

A. How Suitable is this House?

image.png.bd718458759324eb052c260869e2d03a.png

Via Science of FS: Part 1 and 2
Via Art of FS: Part 3 External

1PIECHARTTOTAL.gif.6add51f0715c181265b21fdd2d8b79d9.gif

Part 1 = How suitable is the unit - Frontage, Kitchen & Main Bedroom? Frontage, Kitchen, Main Bedroom = 30 Marks image.png.656826af02e6a965b349888d6661b442.png
(Part 1 accounts for why some homes are suitable to some but not to others.)
Part 2 = How is the luck of the Interior Feng Shui of this unit? 35 Marks
Part 3 = External Feng Shui luck? 35 Marks

Total = 30% + 35%+ 35% = 100 Marks.

image.png.94acde6521a369360c937714ed64dc38.png

Note: Thus the toilet at the centrepoint at most falls under Part 2 with just a few percentage points down only.

B. Habit No. 3 = Concept of Maximizing Marks is another consideration:-

C. Fix-the-leaks, First!
