Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 30, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 30, 2020 On 9/30/2020 at 4:20 PM, Linlinade said: Hi master, can my fridge facing the sink? Thanks for your advice 1. There are several points to consider: 1.1. It is a common misconception that refrigerators are associated with the water element. 1.2. This belief may stem from the fact that the central compartment is frequently used for storing cold beverages and various drinks. 1.3. Consequently, this could explain why many people link refrigerators with water, especially since ice tends to accumulate in non-auto-defrosting models. 2. However, can anyone clarify whether we do not consistently observe this appearance when the refrigerator is functioning? 2.1. [Above photo] If your refrigerator consistently appears in this manner, regardless of any decorative fridge magnets or notes you may wish to add, do you not agree that it resembles a singular, solid METAL box? 3. Therefore, a STANDARD refrigerator, as opposed to any so-called "unconventional" refrigerator, is indeed classified as the Metal element. Consequently, there should be no concern regarding its proximity to the stove, correct? The combination of metal and fire is acceptable in this context. 4. [Below photo] "Unconventional" may not be the most appropriate term. Let us refer to this as a Luxury or Deluxe refrigerator, shall we? Does that meet your approval? 4.1. In the context of Feng Shui symbolism, it is recommended to position the water or ice dispenser away from direct alignment with the stove, as such placement is thought to generate opposing energies. 4.2. Additionally, it is advantageous that the compartment is generally situated on the right side, facilitating convenient access. Nevertheless, if the compartment is transparent and displays beverage bottles, it remains prudent to avoid positioning it directly across from the stove. 4.3. The wine chiller should also be positioned away from the stove, as this arrangement is deemed unfavorable according to Feng Shui principles. This is attributed to the belief that such a configuration can lead to a conflict of energies, thereby disturbing the harmony within the home. 5.1. The symbolism is illustrated by the bottles of wine (liquid) positioned with their openings directed towards the stove. 6. Additionally, it is advisable to avoid placing a front-loading washing machine with its "glass door" facing the stove. P.S. Next time, will you look at a standard fridge differently? And / or correct your friends thinking that it should never face the stove? IN SUMMARY "The above write-up encourages a re-evaluation of common perceptions regarding kitchen appliance placement, specifically suggesting that one should consider the relationship between a refrigerator and a stove. It highlights the importance of questioning traditional beliefs in order to foster a more functional kitchen design." - Master Cecil Lee, Geomancy.net

Staff Cecil Lee Posted 13 hours ago Staff Share Posted 13 hours ago Units categorized as Good, Bad, and Ugly. 1. Keep in mind that while a geomancer may deem this development favorable, the quality of a unit also relies on its specific location within the development. 2. Is your potential unit under the Good, the Bad or the Ugly? 3. Consider this scenario: the unit resembles a dilapidated 1,000 cc car that has seen better days. Not even a skilled Feng Shui Master could transform it into a desirable unit! 3.1. By the way, (above) this falls under Habit Number 11. 4. Staff Cecil Lee Posted 13 hours ago Staff Share Posted 13 hours ago Toilet in middle of unit? Feng Shui (FS) is not so fragile The ABC's of Feng Shui... 1. That one issue e.g. such as a toilet at the centrepoint is considered a death sentence or fatal error on it's own. 2. There are often more than one issue that can bring the Feng Shui of a house crashing down. And it is based on a holistic approach represented by this PIE Chart. IN SUMMARY The main takeaway is that a single issue, such as a poorly placed toilet, can significantly impact the overall Feng Shui of a house, but it is essential to recognize that multiple factors contribute to this holistic assessment. Therefore, addressing various issues collectively is crucial for maintaining a harmonious living environment. A. How Suitable is this House? Via Science of FS: Part 1 and 2 Via Art of FS: Part 3 External Part 1 = How suitable is the unit - Frontage, Kitchen & Main Bedroom? Frontage, Kitchen, Main Bedroom = 30 Marks (Part 1 accounts for why some homes are suitable to some but not to others.) Part 2 = How is the luck of the Interior Feng Shui of this unit? 35 Marks Part 3 = External Feng Shui luck? 35 Marks Total = 30% + 35%+ 35% = 100 Marks. Note: Thus the toilet at the centrepoint at most falls under Part 2 with just a few percentage points down only. B. Habit No. 3 = Concept of Maximizing Marks is another consideration:- C.
