Hi,

Hope all is well.

I have two questions as follows:

1. Is it okay if my laughing buddha is facing the main door/entrance?

2. Is it okay for me to put swallows / birds on my shoe cabinet?

Thanks.

1. Laughing buddha: Sitting, Standing, Waving, Babies clinging...etc

"Don't Worry! Be Happy!"

1.1. Under symbolism, it is okay for laughing buddha to face the main door/entrance. More like coming into a home and greeted with a smiling face of sorts. Frankly these are not meant to be prayed to.

1.2. Actually, there are some who stay in landed properties and some place a set of chubby and smiling Qi lins or Lions as opposed to under-nourished ones or fierce looking ones. Same thing as above.

1.3. Same idea as those yakushigama Lucky Cat where many home owners and business face their main door:-

Hey! I am Japanese! NIPPON
Not Chinese!

[Below] Hi, I am Maneki Neko Luck Cat!
They also falsely claim that I am also a Lucky Feng Shui Cat!  - What Bull! LOL!

2. Of Swallows / birds..

2.1. Generally it is okay. So long as this cabinet does not face a dining table. What with we can relate to eating at a food centre and those pesky swallows or pigeons landing onto dinners table and trying to grab a bite or two!
