I would like to improve the feng shui of my home (especially the career aspects) but the floor plan is very unusual and I really don't know how to place the bagua map or the adjustments I would have to make... As you can see on the map, my front entrance is at the end of a long and isolated corridor, and the door is tilted towards the exterior of the apartment. Thus, if I align the bagua map with the door, almost all of my apartment would be outside of it. How should I place the bagua map ? What would you recommend ? Thank you so much for your help ! Although his Black Sect beliefs have been widely rejected in Asia, Lin Yun has found a more receptive following in the West, where he has a temple each in California and New York. When contacted for comment, Lin Yun’s church released a statement saying that “Westerners do not understand.” When it was pointed out that the statement did not seem to have a bearing on the situation — the article came from a Chinese paper and was transcribed by ethnic Chinese into English — church officials were confused. Finally, the church resorted to its standard explanation that Lin Yun was once again misquoted. This “living Buddha” (Da Shi) of the Black Sect church has a long-standing history of being misquoted. He needs to hire experienced media and communications specialists (“spin doctors”), or take a course in effective communication himself — because the only people who seem to understand him to the church’s satisfaction are his sycophants. I intend to stick to the Black Hat Sect school of thought and perhaps add some more traditional influence. My challenge is if it is ineffective, why does it dominate the market (at least in the West)? Nearly every single practitioner I have spoken with subscribes to it.
