WANTING249
I am currently in my first trimester, but in the midst of planning to do an extension to the back portion of my house. This is needed as soon as possible to make space for my confinement and space for my second baby. How do I navigate around this to ensure my pregnancy and birth goes smoothly while going ahead with this extension?

In my culture, it is considered taboo to alter or relocate the 'bed of conception' during pregnancy and for the first month following the birth of the child. Furthermore, it is advised that the expectant mother should avoid putting herself in potentially hazardous situations, such as being in a home that is undergoing renovations or being in the vicinity of movers.
