How to determine direction facing from a BTO site plan?

Hi everyone,

A beginner interested in Fengshui here, looking to seek some guidance on determining a unit's direction facing using a BTO site plan layout.
I understand that there is the North needle at the bottom of the layout, but how do I actually determine the direction?
Things like sitting and facing? I am keen in checking the direction of stack 629.

For High Rise Compass Reading should be taken from the living room looking out of it. For eg. towards the living room windows or its balcony (if applicable)
