House Number and buying a house

Hi. I was curious about a house number. My brother is planning on buying a new home. One of the houses that he is interested has the house number 2506. I was wondering if this is a good number or a bad one. It is a two story townhouse that is approx 12 years old. Some of my friends and relatives have mentioned that it is a bad one because when added to a single digit it equals 4, but we don't know for sure if this is true and why. Please help if you can. Dear Anon,
In my opinion, house numbers are not really based on Feng Shui but numerology.
However, within numberology, there are many (many) types of formulas. Sometimes it does not even go into forumlas or methods but simply, the phonetic sound `like'.
It is my believe that, if I were to look for a home, my first consideration is location, location and location.
I apologise for writing location x 3. But seriously, location is the most single factor that has an impact in Feng Shui and affects our luck.
If I were to buy the house, if the house has excellent, good or even average FS, I do not mind buying the house with the no. 2506.
Usually, in Asia, where the weekly purchase of 4-D or 4digit `lottery' is common, some of us would make a bet on the number or `play' with it e.g. 2506 2605 5602 etc.. in the hope of striking or winning a prize.
